This user-friendly diagnostic tool is packaged in a functional
and cutting edge design.
This new member is the Star Diagnosis basic.
Although compact and lightweight (3.5 kilos [8 lbs.]), the
Star Diagnosis basic is packed with powerful components and
is highly impact-resistant. These features make it the perfect
choice where mobility and speed are important requirements
and where customer satisfaction means reduced waiting and
down time due to vehicle repairs (e.g., at the dealer service
facility and for 24 hour roadside assistance requests).
Star Diagnosis basic is a sturdy and amazingly mobile electronic diagnostic tool engineered to satisfy your increasing

Star Diagnosis basic offers operation via a user-friendly
stylus and touch screen.
Star Diagnosis basic operates with DAS and HHT.WIN software.
If desired, a virtual keyboard can be displayed on the touch
screen as an additional input source.
The most versatile variant in the Star Diagnosis line, Star
Diagnosis basic consists of powerful components and provides future readiness through its DVD drive and network
capabilities.
Peripherals, such as a external printer and keyboard can also
be connected to the Star Diagnosis basic.
Personalized access to special modules is made possible
through a chip card reader.
Power is supplied to the basic via the diagnostic socket in the
vehicle.

Regular Updates
Availability
The latest programs and data are sent on CD at monthly
intervals to keep your system fully updated.
In the event your Star Diagnosis basic develops a
problem that cannot be corrected locally in your
workshop, a replacement unit will be made available
to you. An inventory of loan and replacement components is available to get your system up and
running quickly.

A user’s guide for Star Diagnosis basic is available in
English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese.

Support Center
The Star Diagnosis Support Center is available to support
you in the event of any problems with your Star Diagnosis
basic unit. This Service is available in the 6 languages
mentioned above and is available in English 6 days a week 24 hours a day. The customer support number is included in
the user’s guide

warranty.
