Check-in time at the hotel is 4:00 PM and check-out time is

We can expect average highs around 76 during the day with
lows around 65 in the evening. Casual dress is the order of
the day, while the Thursday evening Opening Reception and

UFO Membership
If you not a current member of the Under Forty
Organization, or know someone who might be interested in
joining, visit the AAMGA website, www.aamga.org, and
click on the “Under Forty Organization” link at the top right
of the homepage. You’ll find information about the UFO and
will be able to download a copy of the membership form.
You must be a UFO Member to attend the UFO Annual
Meeting. Joining the UFO is free and there is no limit as to
the number of UFO Members per AAMGA Member agency,
company or business, so long as the UFO Members are
under 40 years of age.

We will officially kick off this year’s UFO Annual Meeting at a

Board of Directors. Please join your UFO President, Adam Rothert,
along with members of the UFO Board for an evening of hospitality
and networking.

Workforce: Partners in Progress

For the first time in history, four generations are working
side-by-side and each of these generations has distinct attitudes,
behaviors, expectations, habits and motivational buttons. Learning
how to communicate more effectively with other generations is not
only the right thing to do in today’s diverse workplace but it’s also
good for your career advancement. Join us for a lively discussion,
group activities and panel discussion as we delve into the nuances
of each generation. Bring your questions and obtain new
information to share with your colleagues and customers on how
to make your business partnerships, and our industry, the most
successful they can be. Millennials: g2tu, think ur gonna like this.

Conveniently located in Mission Valley just minutes away from
downtown San Diego, Riverwalk Golf Club offers a quiet oasis from
the busy hustle of the city. Distinctive in character but consistent in
quality, every hole was meticulously designed by Ted Robinson, Sr.
and Jr. in the old style, leaving the terrain completely natural. Water
comes into play on 13 of the 27 holes with four new lakes and the
San Diego River. Home to a variety of wildlife and wetlands flora,
Riverwalk is a natural for tournaments and visiting golfers. AAMGA
UFO Meeting registration is required to participate.
Compete in this year’s UFO Scramble Tournament on the Riverwalk
Golf Club. Please meet in the hotel lobby at 7:15 am. Breakfast and
box lunches will be provided for registered golfers.

Join the UFO Board for a presentation on the status of the AAMGA
UFO initiatives and offer opportunities for you to get involved. All
Wholesale, Associate and Business Services UFO Members are
encouraged to attend. Adam Rothert will be reporting on the
accomplishments and new initiatives of the UFO as well as
discussing some exciting changes on the horizon. You’ll also hear
reports from the UFO Committee Liaisons on their work with the
AAMGA’s Committees and how you can get involved.
Roundtable Discussion
2:15 pm - 4:15 pm
Join us for the UFO Roundtable Discussion session where the UFO,
the top industry professionals, will discuss the future and how it
relates to today’s industry environment. Attend to hear what others
think about: What’s the future of the industry? What are the top
challenges facing individuals just entering the industry? What is the
best piece of advice that you would pass along to other UFO
Members? How is the industry changed by the new generation
entering the workforce? Whether you have the answers or your
own questions to discuss, attend the Roundtable Discussion and
offer your voice.
Welcome Reception

Span the globe in one afternoon, viewing rare and intriguing
wildlife from nearly every region of the world in just one location,
the San Diego Zoo. Known for its large, naturalistic enclosures,
guests to the Zoo become immersed in bio-climactic zones such as
Absolutely Apes, Tiger River, Gorilla Tropics, Polar Bear Plunge and
the Owens Rainforest Aviary. The newest and most exciting exhibit
of all is the 7-acre Elephant Odyssey, which follows the prehistoric
path of the Elephant to its existence today. Join the UFO group for
this exclusive, 90 minute tour which is filled with experiences and
information you couldn’t get anywhere else. This is a great
mini-introduction to the zoo’s mammal, bird and plant collections.
The tour includes a private bus tour and a visit to one off-exhibit
area.
Please note that an AAMGA UFO Meeting Registration is
required to participate. Please note that this tour is designed
for participants of good to moderate health. Attendees are
encouraged to dress comfortably and bring sunscreen and
sunglasses.

Tour 2: Little Italy Walking Tour & Progressive Lunch

This fun and educational tour of San Diego’s culture-rich
neighborhood of Little Italy has delighted groups for over fourteen
years covering 140 years of colorful neighborhood history and
behind the scenes intrigue. From 1871 to the 21st century, the story
of Little Italy, San Diego has been one of hope and despair, growth
and decline, genesis and exodus and today--renaissance. You will
laugh, maybe even shed a tear, but you will never forget the tale of
the local Italians who labored to build one of San Diego's great
industries of old.
This year’s reception and dinner will be a night to remember.
Located at the Casa Guadalajara in Old Town, the UFO is hosting
dinner at this spectacular Mexican restaurant which is a welcoming
landmark for Old Town San Diego, capturing the “Spirit of Mexico”
at its best. Discover authentic regional Mexican cuisine presented
with flair in beautiful dining rooms and patios or enjoy our famous
margaritas in the lively cantina.The ambience of Casa Guadalajara
is reminiscent of a gracious hacienda deep in Mexico. Old wooden
gates, splashing fountains, colorful talavera tiles and wrought iron
fixtures help create a most magnificent dining experience.
Join us and enjoy a tour and lunch at Il Monello- Fabulous gourmet
pasta lunch prepared by Chef Fabrizio. There will be a chef demo of
cutting/sampling of imported Raspa Dura—a ripe young Parmesan
and Prosciutto Toscano (bone in) served with house-made focaccia
bread & salted Lupini beans for snacking. Lastly a Gelato stop to
end a fun filled foodie day.
Tour 3: San Diego Land & Sea Adventure

Capture the essence of this dynamic seaside city via a guided
minicoach adventure coupled with a 30-minute fast tour on The
Patriot. Along the guided tour, you may see gems like the historic
Gaslamp District, stunning Balboa Park, picturesque La Jolla,
historical Old Town, world-famous Coronado Island, jaw-dropping
Balboa Park and much, much more! On The Patriot, you’ll
experience a 30 minute fast tour. It is the newest and most thrilling
tour San Diego has to offer! Climb aboard and hold on for this
