OTAKI PLAYERS at the civic
29 April 2009
NEWSLETTER
The Players next production in June
will be Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues which was first performed in
New York in 1999. The Vagina Monologues is a set of stories about women
told by women where you will laugh
your way through stories about subjects
not usually talked about around the
dinner table. Don’t be fooled by the title this play is for all people, no matter
your gender. Men will enjoy it just as
much as women because it is also about
them. So if you are looking for a great
night out in June put The Vagina Monologues on your list.

We at Otaki Players encourage
you and any one to become a
member and get involved.
There are stacks of opportunities to get involved in a
variety of ways including
acting, set design, lighting,
sound operation, stage management, even as one of our
Committee Members. Getting involved with our
theatre group provides tremendous opportunities
to meet new people and to share in the wonder of
one of the oldest creative crafts that has ever existed. Maybe you will direct your own production
