Hynix DDR2 SDRAM
DDR SDRAM
These chips are the next generation of DDR SDRAM memory. They are mounted on
240-pin DIMM modules, can operate at higher bus speeds and have a capacity to hold
256 Mb to 2 GB of memory. DDR2 has twice the latency of DDR but delivers data at
twice the speed of DDR.
DDR SDRAM (double data rate SDRAM) is synchronous dynamic RAM (SDRAM) that
can theoretically improve memory clock speed to at least 200 MHz. It activates output
on both the rising and falling edge of the system clock rather than on just the rising edge.

Is there a minimum amount of memory you need to install in order to
use the Aero Features?
Microsoft generally recommends a minimum of 1 GB of dual-channel memory
