worked for the SILK WAY RALLY was
remembered for a long time 2010 to
participants by the most unexpected
aspects and the opening of new regions and landscapes of various geographical zones of the European part

RALLY Dakar Series 2010, remained
behind, but we will still remember for
a long time the most unexpected moments of this rally-marathon and we’ll

landscapes and views of various geographical zones of the European part of

WAY RALLY Dakar Series has come to
the end. There are behind the roads of
our ancestors, the Novgorod and Pskov

Ring of Russia, a track of the Silk way
along the great Russian river Volga, on

heavy cargo upstream from Astrakhan,

The official fuel supplier of the SILK WAY
RALLY Dakar Series 2010 traditionally
became the LUKOIL Company. With the
full responsibility for quality of the
product this company gave the necessary type and enough of gasoline and
diesel oil to participants at each stage.
Fuel quality control, delivered for the
vehicles of the SILK WAY RALLY participants, specially was carried out at each
stage of production. On the stations, in
the days of the rally carrying out, the
employees speaking foreign languages

worked. The process of fuel maintenance
thought over to trifles on the rally is one
of the indicators of the preparation level
of the whole project. It is necessary not
only to guarantee the fuel quality, but
also to organize its delivery in the appointed points and to provide faultless
and operative service of sports crews.
RALLY AVIATION CREW
12 aircrafts were involved in the rally
aviation maintenance. Considering the
importance of operative air communication, the structure of the rally itinerary
was adhered to the airdromes locations.
They became the base points serving as
the end and start place of the stages,
and also the place of the rally bivouacs.
On the route six helicopters worked: direction, safety, television, medical, and
also stages start and finish teams. In
addition the rally organizing committee took care of special helicopters for
the accredited journalists and photographers ensuring the work on the race
route on.
Six planes transported media representatives, TV equipment and equipment of the rally direction center. Special charter flights provided delivery
of the foreign competitors, press, and
