infusion and Oxygen therapy. Their
blood samples were taken. After all the
pleasantries, documentation, orientation,
and meals, they called it a day and stayed in
their respective guest rooms. Lorna shares,

They were prepped up for the procedure,
after which they were told: "Stay in bed for
one whole day after the injections; meals
u.ill be delivered to your rooms."
The day after the procedure, patients
are usually up and about, depending on
their health condition and resistance.
The healthier ones are able to go back to
their usual activities, but best with proper
nutrition and a disciplined lifestyle. Villa
Medica's list of pre- and post-therapy
imperatives must be observed. For premeatment: colon cleansing is a 'must', along
rqith increased intake of water, multir-itamins and high-fiber food. "'Yunghighflber diet should be at least for one month,"
Lorna adds.
These are the ones on post-treatment: no
smoking for at least a week; no vaccination
or immunization, and no mud packs or mud
baths within 4-6 weeks after therapy; also,
no exposure to radiation or electromagnetic
energy (including that from a microwave)
for at least a month. Caution: Treatment
cannot be repeated after flve months has
elapsed from previous injection. Avoid
activities which increase body temperature
in 10-14 days, like the following: sports,
rigorous sex, intensive exercise, gardening,
and garage cleaning.

completed, the pain and uneasy feeling on the left side
below my spinal cord disappeared instantaneously. That
was a blessingl I have been suffering from that pain
and discomfort and, thank God, I started to feel relief
from it really fast-would you believe-right after the

Lorna expresses her optimism that in the next few
months, she will start feeling the other beneflts of

Even without waiting for three or more months
(by October-November), Lorna is already eager to
recommend stem cel1 therapy. "My sons are also equally
optimistic about stem cell therapy that, like me, they'd
also recommend it."
For her part, Lolit Solis has been quoted as
saying: "It's the new status symbol." She declared her
satisfaction with the procedure and its initial effects
when interviewed on GMAT's ShowbizCentral after they
got back from Germany last JulY.
Below are excerpts of Lolit's interview, which jibed
with what Lorna rattled off in her interview with this

in her health and condition: God, the Provider of all

Inspired by Lorna's statements about giving
credit where credit is due, this writer has plucked
out relevant verses from the Bible so we may all be
reminded: "The fear of the LORD is the beginning
of knowledge..."(Proverbs 1:7) and "For the LORD
gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and
understanding. " (Proverbs 2 :6).
Stem cell therapy is a breakthrough knowledge that
has been allowed by God so that it could be practiced
righteously for the beneflt of mankind. May He forbid
the use of this breakthrough in ways that are twisted or
abusive, to preclude substantiation ofaccusations ofits
being an ethical-moral issue.'
