Club Jackets For Sale
We still have one of our original Darker gray and Black club jackets in size Large for sale. The
price is $35.00. We have one of the Light Gray jackets left in a size X-Large at $35.00. We also still
have some of the club jackets which are black in color with white stripes on the bottom and a
detachable hood in assorted sizes at $40.00 and they do run a little small so you need to order a larger
size than you usually wear. We also have a new style jacket which is black with blue lettering and
graphics. These jackets run pretty true to size. The M, L, and X-Large sizes are $42.00, the XX-Large
size is $45.00 and the XXX-Large size is $48.00. You can come out and try one on for size to see

LCCC Sweatshirts for Sale
The Lemont Classic Car Club also has some royal blue sweatshirt jackets with a hood and a
full zipper up the front for sale. We currently only have a few of these jackets left but we will can
order more if our members want them. If you wish to place an order for a sweatshirt in your size call
and when we get enough people to sign up we will reorder. The price is $22.00. Call Sharen @
708-301-8899 to order a sweatshirt jacket. We also have club hats available in various colors for
$3.00 each.

Drag Plaques Are Still Available
The Lemont Classic Car Club had Drag Plaques made with our club name and logo on them.
The plaque attaches to you back license plate or bumper and is approximately 5" X 9" in size. They are made of
Cast Aluminum and can be painted to match your car. The price is $18.00 . We ordered 60 Drag Plaques and
we only have 11 remaining. If you wish to purchase one please do it quickly because when they are gone they
are gone. We will not be ordering any more. The Lemont Classic Car Club paid the $100.00 set up fee and the
shipping charges so the plaques are being sold at cost with no additional charges. For more information. Call

pleasure to their residents. The residents get to vote on their favorite vehicles.

Club Dues Are Past Due
Dues for the 2015 were due on January 1st, 2015. A regular membership is $20.00, a spouse or family member is
$10.00 and we now have a Senior discount of $10.00 for anyone who is age 70 or older. If you joined the club
after September of 2014 and already have a green membership card you are already paid for this year. Your dues
entitles you to a Club Newsletter every 2 months, a free Club T-Shirt when you first join, our Club Picnic for
you and your immediate family free, free ads in our Club Newsletter, special discounts all year from some of our

Annual Trip To The Chicago Auto Show
Our first club event, held on Wednesday, February 18th, was our trip down to McCormick Place to the
2015 Chicago Auto Show. Twenty-four club members braved the cold and snow to attend this event. The entry
tickets were Free thanks to Bob O’Donnell and our wonderful sponsor McCarthy Ford at 115th and Pulaski,
however we still had to pay the expensive Chicago parking rates. This years show did have some really nice
concept vehicles and some vehicles that are scheduled to come sometime this year. The first Buick convertible
in 15 years is one of the cars scheduled to hit the show room floors in early 2016. It has a very nice design. The
one concept car that really caught our attention was the Hyundai Santa Cruz pick-up truck with the truck bed that
can be extended 6 inches. This is quite the looker!!! Also the Acura had a very special concept too. After we
toured McCormick Place we headed over to Illinois Bar And Grill for lunch which is always a treat. I understand
the beer is quite good too by the way some people were ordering it....Again we want to thank Bob O’Donnell and
McCarthy Ford for procuring the tickets and making this outing a very special one. We hope that this annual
event will continue for a long time. Thanks to everyone that made this Club trip a success.
Thanks To Everyone That Voted In the Homer Glen Primary Election
The Lemont Classic Car Club would like to express our appreciation to everyone that voted for George
Yukich , Chris Neitzke and all of the write-in candidates on February 24th. As a result of our help George Yukich
receive 1,713 votes and incumbent Mayor Daley only scored 1,107. Yea for our side !! Our Candidates are now
on the ballot, however we need to get out the vote for the April 7th, election which really counts.
If you enjoyed going to the Saturday Night Car Cruises when they were held at
159th and Bell Road Remember who threw us out of that location, hopefully soon to be
ex-Mayor Jim Daley, and vote accordingly !!!
Please vote for all of the candidates listed below that had to fight to get on the ballot who are: George
Yukich for Mayor, Ann Holtz for Clerk, Beth Rodgers, Carlo Caprio and Christina
Neitzke-Trokie for Trustee. These are the people that have helped us in the past especially
George Yukich and Christina Neitzke-Trokie and they are the people that will continue helping us in the
future. Please get out and vote to keep Homer Glen the great town that it can be again with some new
management.
