Corvette Expressions 3rd Edition—Volume 117
May, 2016
Greetings, and welcome to the May issue
of Corvette Expressions.
Let me start this month's newsletter by wishing all the Corvette moms a
Happy Mother's Day.
Club members had a “deliciously” great
time at Harold’s Deli on April 9. If you
have never been to Harold’s, it’s an experience like no other. With GIANT sandwiches and desserts large enough to feed an
entire family, I think we all rolled, rather
than walked out the door!
May is a great time for car enthusiasts. Show
schedules are in full swing, and our club is
no exception. The May meeting is our last
opportunity to discuss our Bar-A event on
May 15. As this is our biggest fund raiser,
I'm hoping for good weather and a large turnout. I'd like to thank the Bar-A committee
and all those involved for doing a great job
with organizing this year's event.
The Home Depot show in West Long
Branch took place on April 24. Several
members were able to participate. Congratulations to Julie Shakoor who won
Best in Show.
We have lots more to do so check our event
calendar for dates and places.
Also, please pass along any other shows or
events that may interest club members.
Weather permitting, it should be a great
year...
This month’s issue as well as June’s contain
lots of information pertaining to upcoming
car shows, pages 9 and 10, and cruise
nights on page 11 (thanks to the Nogueiras
for that info!)
See you at the next meeting,
See you all soon!
Yours in Corvettes,
Rob Lombardi
