Some churches call newcomers ‘lambs’,
but we can see that the ‘Lamb’ refers only to Jesus in the Bible.
Among many animals on the earth,
a lamb is an animal that resembles Jesus the most.
A lamb is meek and gentle.
It doesn’t hurt others nor resists even when its wool is shaved.
All it has -its wool, milk, and even its flesh- is sacrificed in silence for men.
Likewise, Jesus gave His life on the cross to redeem us from our sins
and opened the way of salvation wide for mankind.

Petronas Twin Towers
The twin towers, a landmark of Kuala Lumpur were established in 1998, with a height of 452 meters (88
floors). They were recognized as the tallest building in the world at that time, and in 2014 were ranked as
the sixth tallest one and still remain the tallest twin towers in the world.
With the twin towers designed by Mr. Cesar Pelli, an Argentine American architect, Tower-1 was constructed

Will
Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks;
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus
1Thessalonians 5:16-18
We can see that some believers receive love from God, experience His grace, and
receive many blessings in their everyday lives while other believers, though they
seemingly try hard, suffer from hardships or persecutions and live difficult lives.
So, where does this difference come from? It depends on the extent to which they
understand God’s will and obey it.Then, what is His will toward His beloved children?

God’s will is that we should rejoice always
We can rejoice always if we believe that God is the One
who created the heavens and the earth and all things in
them, that it is He who controls human history, and He
is also our Father.
We were destined to go to Hell due to sins, but we have
been saved through Jesus Christ and have become
God’s children. Now we can go to Heaven, so how can
we not rejoice?
Some people might say they are in a situation where
they cannot rejoice at all because they have diseases,
family problems, or financial problems. But if we
rejoice only when we have something joyful and if we
do not rejoice when we have tests, trials, or problems,
then aren’t we the same as non-believers?
For non-believers, their whole purpose of life is on this
earth. Because they do not know the spiritual realm,
they rejoice only when there is something joyful. At
other times, they just live in the concerns, worries,
sorrow, and pain. Because they don’t know there is
Heaven and Hell after death, they just follow the lust of
the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of this life in an
attempt to enjoy their lives, which is only for 70 or 80
years.
But, by believing in Jesus Christ they are saved and
become God’s children. They have hope for Heaven, so
they can rejoice not only when there is something good
but also in the midst of tests, trials, or pains. After
they experience the relativity of things in this world,
they enjoy glory and happiness forever in the eternal
kingdom of heaven. They can also rejoice even in trials
if they believe that even those trials are allowed by God
so that they can receive even better heavenly dwelling
places and even greater glory.
It is God’s will that we pray without ceasing
1) We have to make it a habit to pray.
Some people pray only when they feel like it or they
have a problem. Some others pray only when they
are in a good mood or when there is something to be
thankful for. But we have to make it a habit and pray all
the time like the Lord did. Many biblical figures made
it a rule to pray.
Right after accepting Jesus Christ, you might not know
how to pray, and feel it is difficult to pray. But as you
continuously learn God’s Word and keep on praying,
your spirit will grow up and prosper, so that you will
be able to pray powerfully.
When God’s children, who were born again of the
Holy Spirit, cease to pray, at first they might not feel
the difference so much. But as time passes, they feel
increasingly more afflicted in their hearts. Just as we
will die if we do not breathe, if we do not pray for a
long time, our spirit also has no choice but to die.
One of the main reasons tests and trials come upon
believers is because they cease to pray. As we fill up the

measure of prayer by following our habit of praying,
we will be able to keep the Spirit’s fullness and receive
the strength to live in God’s Word. Then, we can always
be protected by God.
2) To pray without ceasing is to pray at all times in the
Spirit.
Sometimes the Holy Spirit urges our hearts to pray
other than our designated prayer time. If we obey
and pray at these moments, we might experience
something special, for instance, avoiding a big problem
or an accident.
To pray at all times in the Spirit is to be guided by the
Holy Spirit all the time with a prayerful heart. When
the Holy Spirit speaks to us and urges our heart, we
can hear His voice and obey the urging only when we
are awake with a prayerful heart. We can be sensitively
receptive to the Holy Spirit’s works only when we pray
being on the alert.
3) To pray without ceasing is to meditate on God’s
Word day and night.
The word of the truth must be active all the time in our
heart no matter where we are, what we are doing, or

who we are with. Some believers seem to be crying out
in prayer, but as they go back to the world, they live in
their old ways of living without any change. No matter
how long we pray, if we live in fleshly thoughts and
untruths, we cannot be considered to have prayed with
our heart. If we pray without ceasing and with all our
heart, God’s Word will always dwell in our heart. Then,
we can be guided by the Holy Spirit at all times. When
we do this, our lives will change; we will be able to cast
away evil and become holy, and will be guided to the
way of prosperity.
On the contrary, if we cease to pray and lose the
fullness of the Holy Spirit, thereby being unable to
receive the Holy Spirit’s guidance, then the fleshly
thoughts will lead us. Then, we will not be able to live
by God’s will, and we will suffer from hardships. We
then tend to put our own will ahead of God’s will, we
might even end up being caught in the traps of Satan.
The enemy devil always tries to take away our faith so
we won’t go to Heaven. They are searching for someone
to devour like a roaring lion, and we can drive it away
only when we pray without ceasing. For this reason
God tells us to pray unceasingly, and even says it is sin
to cease to pray (1 Samuel 12:23).
God’s will is that we give thanks in everything
If we can always rejoice and pray without ceasing, we
will have many conditions of thanksgiving in our lives.
Although we do not have visible and tangible things to
give thanks for, we can still give thanks in everything if
we rejoice always and pray without ceasing. It’s because
we have already received such great grace and deep
love of God that even if we give thanks all the time for
the rest of our lives we cannot repay Him for it.
We were forgiven of our sins and have gained eternal
life through the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We have
received the right to become God’s children and have
the hope of Heaven. If we understand this secret of
salvation, how can we not give thanks in everything as
children of God?
By the way, to give thanks in everything is not just
giving thanks for good things but even in the midst
of hardships. Anyone can give thanks when there are
things to give thanks for.
If we give thanks with faith even in a situation where
we cannot really give thanks, God accepts such faith
joyfully and gives us blessing, so that all things will
work out for the best (Romans 8:28). Thanksgiving
has such wonderful power to change any kind of
circumstances or situation.
The same principle applies to growth of faith. God is
leading each of us in the best way for us individually.
He sometimes allows trials and unfolds before us the
procedures that are required for our spiritual growth.
At those times, depending on how thankful we are in
each situation, our growth of faith will also be different.
If you think like, “Why has my faith increased only
a little?”, then it is proof that you are not thankful.
Therefore, I hope you will give thanks in all
circumstances by seeing everything with faith.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, faith without works
is dead, and faith is perfected by the works. I urge you
to check yourself based on the passage “Rejoice always;
pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks.” I
hope you will obey God’s will by clearly understanding
it. I pray in the name of the Lord in doing so you will
receive God’s blessing and answers as well as gain His
love and recognition.

Malaysia
2015
The 12th WCDN (World Christian Doctors Network) conference
held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on May 16-17, 2015, ended
successfully. Christian medical doctors have been verifying and
proving divine healings with medical data in the conferences.

This 2-day conference was attended by 350 medical doctors and medical
professionals from 31 countries around the world, including the United
States, Spain, Italy, Norway, Bulgaria, and Mexico.
The conference began with the welcoming message of the organizing
committee chairman Prof. Datuk Dr. Daniel. M. Thuraiappah, which
was followed by the welcoming video message of Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee,
who said, “This conference was held so that more people would meet and
experience God and they would live with true hope by accepting Jesus
Christ. They will be given an opportunity to feel the power of spirituality.”
There were presentations of 9 separate divine healing cases, which had
been medically verified, which were cases of: Acute Left Ventricular
Failure with Pulmonary Edema, Nasolacrimal Duct Obstruction,
Forming of Double-edged Eyelids, Visual Impairment: Choroidal
Neovascularization, Extermination of Ebola Virus Disease in DR Congo,
Bipoar ll, Oppositional Defiant, and Phonologic Disorders, 95% Brain
Injury, From death to Life, from debt to debt free: Mesenteric Thrombosis,
and Neonatal Cerebral Infarction.
One of the most impressive cases was the case presentation of
extermination of Ebola Virus Disease in DR Congo, which took place
right after Rev. Jaerock Lee prayed for this upon the prayer request of a
province governor of that country. Many attendants applauded to give
glory to God after this presentation.
There were also special lectures: “My personal Journey of believing that
God can heal supernaturally” of Rev. Dr. Chew Weng Chee of Malaysia;
“The Power of God the Creator” of Dr. Alvin J. Hwang, the vice president
of WCDN, which talked about God’s power that not only heals diseases
but also controls the weather conditions; and “Spiritual Roots of Disease”
of Dr. Frans J. Cronje of South Africa.
There was a testimony of a believer, too. Lim Siow Lim Shery gave her
testimony of getting her breast cancer healed by relying on God.
They also had a special spiritual meeting in this conference. Pastor
Heesun Lee, an assistant pastor of Manmin Central Church led the
“Miracle Healing Prayer Meeting” on the first day of the conference, and
gave a special lecture under the title “Measure of Faith” on the second day.
Many attendants witnessed the power of God directly at the meeting.
Through the prayer of Pastor Heesun Lee with a handkerchief (Acts
19:11-12), various kinds of pains were gone and those couldn’t walk
came to walk. Especially, Dr. Timothy Sng of Malaysia received the
prayer on behalf of his patient who was at the state of braid dead due to
encephalomeningitis, and this patient miraculously recovered.
The next, 13th conference will be held in Spain in 2016.

Ebola Virus Disease
Power that Transcends Time & Space

Ebola virus disease (EVD) first appeared in 1976
in 2 simultaneous outbreaks, one in Nzara, Sudan,
and the other in Yambuku, Democratic Republic
of Congo. The latter occurred in a village near
the Ebola River, from which the disease takes its
name. Between 1976 and 2013, the World Health
Organization reports a total of 24 outbreaks
involving 1,716 cases. The largest outbreak is the
ongoing epidemic in West Africa centered in Guinea,
Sierra Leone and Liberia in 2014. As of 8 April 2015,
this outbreak has 25,591 reported cases resulting
in 10,602 deaths. EVD has a high risk of death in
those infected which varies between 50 percent and
90 percent of those infected. As of September 2014,
the average risk of death among those infected is 50
percent. The highest risk of death was 90 percent in
the 2002–2003 Republic of the Congo outbreak.

DR Congo especially is the country that first saw the
outbreak of Ebola virus, and there have been 7 EVD
outbreaks until 2014 in DR Congo. We wouldn’t be
able to imagine the magnitude of their fear of this
disease..
It is thought that fruit bats of the Pteropodidae
family are natural Ebola virus hosts. Ebola is
introduced into the human population through
close contact with the blood, secretions, organs
or other bodily fluids of infected animals such as
chimpanzees, gorillas, fruit bats, monkeys, forest
antelope and porcupines found ill or dead or in the
rainforest.
Ebola virus, once it is introduced in human body,
destroys Natural killer cells and decreases the level
of immunity. It increases permeability of the veins
by destroying endothelium, causing edema and
shock. It destroys the liver cells, restraining the
production of blood coagulation factors. This can
cause hemorrhage and shock, which then leads to
death. First symptoms are the sudden onset of fever
fatigue, muscle pain, headache and sore throat. This
is followed by vomiting, diarrhea, rash, symptoms
of impaired kidney and liver function, and in some
cases, both internal and external bleeding (e.g.
oozing from the gums, blood in the stools).
The specific diagnosis of EVD is confirmed by
isolating the virus, detecting its RNA or proteins, or
detecting antibodies against the virus in a person's
blood. For treatment, there is as yet no known
effective medication or vaccine.
Let me introduce to you a testimony of Sebastien
Impeto Pengo, the governor of Equateur State,
regarding a recent outbreak of Ebola in DR Congo
in 2014..
In Boende District in Equatorial Province of DR
Congo, On August 11, 2014, a woman living in
Ikanamongo Village that lies about 1,200km from
the northern capital of Kinshasa died of ebola like
symptoms, although she was treated in a private
clinic. Subsequent laboratory finding/ showed that
the cause of death was EVD. Doctors without Borders
were dispatched,/ and WHO also took their measures.
On August 18, 13 people including medical
professionals died of Ebola-like symptoms.
On August 26, the minister of public health of the
Equatorial Province reported to the WHO that
there was an outbreak of EVD.
On September 2, the WHO said that there were
currently 31 deaths in the Northern Boende area in
the province of Equateur and 53 confirmed.
As of 26 September, there had been 66 cases
reported. In total, 49 deaths had been reported,
including eight among health care workers. The
President Joseph Kabila ordered the governor of the
Province to stop the outbreak.
But of course there was practically nothing that
the governor could do. But as a member of Congo
Manmin Church, he had witnessed many signs and
wonders taking place through the prayer of Rev.
Jaerock Lee. He felt that the EVD would be gone
away once he asked Rev. Jaerock Lee to pray for the
situation. And he wrote a letter to him and he asked
Rev. Lee to pray to stop the outbreak.
After Rev. Jaerock Lee received his request and
prayed, there were no more reports of the infected
or dead. For 42 days since the last case of infection
(incubation period is 20 days), there has been no
more case of infection, and DR Congo reported to
WHO that the outbreak was in control. It was God’s
work transcending time and space.
It’s not easy to clinically cure one patient completely,
but so many citizens were protected and the
outbreak disappeared. From the Bible, we can see
many accounts of this kind of miraculous work that
transcends time and space. In Matthew 8:8 we read
about a centurion who came before Jesus asking
Him to heal one of his servants. By the command of
Jesus, the servant at the house of the centurion was
healed completely.
Another example of the power that transcends time
and space is found in Mark 7:29-30, we read about a
Syro-Phoenician woman who asked Jesus to heal her
demon-possessed daughter. Just by the command
of Jesus, her daughter who was at the house at the
moment was healed immediately. I’d like to say that
if only we have faith such works that transcend time
and space can also take place today. I give all thanks
and glory to God. I’d like to extend my thanks to
Rev. Jaerock Lee for his prayers, too.

Forming of Double-edged Eyelids
Power of Recreation
A Korean saying goes “Eyes are the windows of
the heart.” Eyes play a key role in making the
overall impression of a person. Double fold eyelids
are formed when the levator palpebrae suprioris
muscle transform into levator aponeurosis and
sticks to palpebral skin. For most Orientals, levator
aponeurosis is not formed and thus they don’t have
the double fold eyelids. But in Manmin Central
Church, there are many cases of people who came
to have double fold eyelids by the power of God
manifested through the senior pastor Rev. Jaerock
Lee, and let me introduce just a couple of cases.
The first case is a sister who is 23 years old. She is
a member of a dancing team in the church, and she
had to spend a lot of time whenever she was making
up for performances, trying to make double fold
eyelids. Obviously she thought it’d be good to have
double fold eyelids. One day she shook hands with
Rev. Jaerock Lee having this hope in her mind, and
after shaking hands, she came to have very strong
feeling that she was going to get double fold eyelids.
So, she put her hands on her eyes and prayed. At
that moment she felt like a line was being drawn on
her eyelids, and as soon as she finished her prayer,
when she opened her eyes, she found out that there

were double eyelids. She just trusted the power of
God manifested through her senior pastor, and God
answered her desire.
The second case is a senior deaconess who is 46
years old. She attended the summer retreat of
Manmin Central Church in 2014, and on the first
day, after listening to the message and receiving
the prayer, double fold eyelids were formed. While
receiving the prayer she repented with hot tears
about having hatred and resentment against her
mother, and she felt the fire of the Holy Spirit. She
had small eyes and she had always wanted double
fold eyelids, so she received the prayer having
that wish in her heart. After the retreat was over,
when she was washing her face at home in the
morning, she knew she had double fold eyelids.
she was surprised that double eyelids were formed
beautifully on both of her eyes. Hallelujah!
The third case is a 29-year-old sister. She doesn’t
have the double-edged eyelids in the photo that was
taken when she was 25. She prayed with faith that
she wanted to have double fold eyelids and sprayed
Muan sweet water on her eyes. Then she got them.
This Muan sweet water comes from a place 355km
away from Seoul. It’s an island. There is a branch
church of Manmin there. But they had a problem,
which is they didn’t have any drinking water on that
location. They dug a well there, but it only produced
bitter sea water. However, they didn’t get frustrated.
Because they had believed the wonders of Marah
which was written in Exodus 15: 23~25. So, the
members there began to pray and fast with faith
that this bitter water would become potable water,
and they asked Rev. Jaerock Lee to pray to change
the water into sweet water. Later, on March 5, 2000,
Rev. Lee prayed for this well while he was in Seoul
through a live satellite feed during the overnight
service and as soon as he finished praying, a miracle
of God took place. The bitter water turned sweet and
became drinkable. As we can see in the photo, many
people enjoy drinking the water. Many people get
healed or receive their hearts’ desires through this
water. For some of them their spiritual eyes were
opened and they saw the spiritual realm.
For double eyelids to be formed, the levator
aponeurosis has to be formed and it stick to the
skin, but such a work took place by the power of recreation through Rev. Jaerock Lee. We can find an
example of the power of re-creation in the Bible.
Ezekiel chapter 37 is a record of dry bones getting
tendons, muscles, and skin and becoming a great
army through Ezekiel’s prayer. In the case of the dry
bones in Ezekiel, their flesh were all gone.
To live again, they need new tendons, muscles, and
skin. This can be done only through the power of re-creation.
Another example of a miracle of recreation is found
in John 11:43~44.
This is a record of Lazarus who had been dead for
4 days but came out alive, with his hands and feet
bound with wrappings, when Jesus commanded him
to come out.
Because he was dead for four days. His flesh is
already decomposing if he was raised again, his flesh
should be restored. However, Jesus commanded
him to come out, the power of re-creation came
upon him and His flesh were restored.
Because all the people who gave their testimonies
above believed in the power of recreation of God
and they trusted the power of Rev. Jaerock Lee they
all received their desires.
If we possess spiritual faith, we can also experience
such power of re-creation even today. Because Jesus
Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
I hope all of you will also gain this kind of faith
through these testimonies.

How much do you think God can do for you?
Is He really almighty?
He truly can do anything for you?
Hudson Taylor and George Mueller
In July last year, I had a great time in Maui, Hawaii.
I really enjoyed excellent teachings of brilliant
facilitators at Haggai Institute. Yes, His LAST
commandment should be our FIRST concern. Among
the facilitators was Mr. George Zachariah. He is
Chief Financial Officer of Haggai. He lectured on
'Setting and achieving goals for evangelizing.' It was
very impressive. One morning there, he preached at
a morning devotion. He quoted Hebrews 11:1. "Now
faith is the substance(confidence) of things hoped for,
the evidence(conviction) of things not seen." And he
introduced 2 examples.
One was from Hudson Taylor. Hudson Taylor was
the man who made the difference for China. For
the gospel in China, he was just like William Carry
did it in India. Hudson Taylor was a humble man of

God, powerfully driven by the challenges to make
the difference in China. He motivated the formation
of the inland China mission and took a lot of (over
800) missionaries into China. At that time China
was not hospitable at all. And then Mao's communist
revolution came and wiped out every religion in China.
But when the revolution was over, Chinese government
started to make it easier for people to declare their
faith. And the world discovered, to their surprise, 44
million Christians in China. The seeds were sown by
the powerful man of God.
In his initial journey to China in the year 1854,
Hudson Taylor was in a sailing ship. The ship was
passing through several islands before reaching China.
Among them was a notorious island. It was filled
with cannibals, people who ate flesh. The reefs of the
island were so nasty that any ship that came in got
stuck and was destroyed. Just as the ship sailing was
passing through this place, the wind suddenly stopped.
No more wind. The current was carrying the ship
rapidly towards the reefs. The captain was really afraid.
They did their best, but only without success. On the
shores of the island, cannibals were rushing about and
lighting fires in great glee. What would you do if you
are in this situation? Hudson Talyor said to the captain,
"Let's pray to the Lord to give us winds." After prayer,
Hudson Talyor was so confident that he said to an
officer to let down the sail so that they can receive the
winds the Lord is going to send. But the officer said,
"No, no, no. If the winds come, then I'll put it down. I'll
put down the sail after the winds come." But Hudson
Taylor insisted. Finally the officer relented and let the
sails down. And sure enough, the winds had come!
In a very few minutes they were out of danger. "Faith is
the substance of things hoped for."
The second example. George Mueller (18051898) clothed, sheltered and educated 10,000 orphans
without asking for a shilling. He was a very famous
man known as a man of great faith & prayer. When he
had any problem, he submitted it to the Lord. And the
Lord answered miraculously. There is a simple example.
Mueller was on a ship that was bound for Quebec.
He had a preaching appointment in Quebec. But the
ship ran into a very deep fog. Then Mueller went to
the captain to inform him of his need to be in Quebec
on time. But the captain said, "It is impossible." Then
Mueller said, "I have never broken an appointment
in fifty seven years. Let's go down to the chart-room
and pray!" The captain looked at him and thought to
himself, "What mental hospital could this man have
come from? Can he not see the dense fog that is there?"
But Mueller already got down on his knees and prayed.
When he finished prayer, the captain was going to pray
but Mueller told the captain not to pray. "First, you do
not believe He will. Second, I believe He has. I have
known my Lord for forty-seven years, and there has
never been a single day that I have failed to gain an
audience with the King. Open the door, and you will
find the fog is gone." When he opened the door, the
fog was gone! Faith is the evidence of things that are
not seen.
George Zachariah said, when you want something
good for the Lord, there may be obstacles or challenges,
which sometimes may seem to be insurmountable. But
just trust in the Lord to understand what faith is. We
are called to be a people of faith.
Jesus and Elijah
According to Matthew chapter 8, A furious storm, a
great tempest, came up on the sea Galilee when Jesus
and his disciples were on a ship. The waves swept over
the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples woke
Jesus, saying, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown! we
perish!" Then what was Jesus' reply? "You of little faith,
why are you so afraid?" And what did he do? He got up
and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it became
completely calm. The men were amazed and asked,
"What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the
waves obey him! The sea obeys him!"
Not only Jesus but also Elijah. "The effectual fervent
prayer of a righteous man is powerful & effective.
Elijah prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it
did not rain for three and a half years. Again he prayed,
and the heavens gave rain."(James 5:16-18)
Power and Sanctification
Bernard Harnik, psychologist, child and family
psychotherapist, Zurich, Switzerland, who was
ICMDA(International Christian Medical and Dental
Association) vice-president from 1978 to 1994 said
at the first ICCP(International Congress of Christian
Physicians) in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1963, "The
task of the Christian doctor consists first of all in
being a Christian, that is, in working by the power
of the Holy Spirit. To this end he must ever seek the
sanctification of his own life so that he may be
God's instrument as the counsellor, helper, prophet or
priest of his patients. His missionary activity among
unbelieving patients can only be fruitful as he is led by
the Holy Spirit."
The Powerful Man of God
In the Philippines in 2001 from S eptember
27 through 29, an outdoor revival meeting was
determined to be held at Luneta Park in Manila.
The speaker was Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee, the founder of
WCDN. But the Philippines is in typhoon season
from July to October. It rains many times a day. Dr. Lee
arrived at Manila international airport at about 11:oo
p.m. night, September 24, 2001, just 2 days before the

event. Because of the influence of a typhoon, there
were strong winds and some rain. A press conference
was held in Manila hotel immediately upon arrival.1)
The reporters seemed to be most interested in the
direction of the typhoon. The reporters asked, "We
have been under the influence of typhoons. Can you
have really an outdoor revival meeting?" Then Dr
Lee boldly proclaimed, "There will be no rain during
the revival meeting and the typhoon will disappear
because Almighty God is with us. Please do not worry.
You will see it. Please watch how God control even the
weather." But the reporters seemed not to believe him.
Dr. Lee’s faith was not shaken in any situation because
he loves God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ to the
utmost degree, and he is loved by God greatly as well.
Typhoon Nari, known in the Philippines as Typhoon
Kiko, originally started just off the east coast of the
Philippines in early September.2) Nari was reported
as an unusually long-lived category 3 typhoon which
took an erratic, two week track.3,4) Nari started near
the Philippines but never returned to the Philippines.
It seemed that the typhoon had met with a strong
wall(barrier). It was not a small battle. Even BBC and
CNN continued to report the typhoon with much
attention.5,6)
hat Dr. Lee arrived in Manila on Sept. 24 night. And
very interestingly, another typhoon had approached
the Philippines just after typhoon Nari subsided. The
new typhoon was actually hovering very near the

Philippines just when Dr. Lee was speaking at the

am on Sept. 25 just after the press conference of Dr.
Lee, the typhoon suddenly changed its track. Now the
Philippines became freed from its influence, threat,
unlike the weather forecast.7)
Summer in the Philippines is usually very hot with
high humidity. But while we were there we had very
clear weather with cool breezes. The local pastors
were so happy saying that just by seeing the weather
conditions they could be sure that God was with them.
And many people were healed during the revival
meeting through the strong works of the Holy Spirit.
Now let's go to America and the Atlantic Ocean.
Hurricane Irene was making her way up toward the
East Coast of the US on August 26 Friday 2011. Irene
had already largely destroyed Bahamas as a Category 3
storm. Though Irene weakened to a Category 2 storm
on Aug. 26 Fri. 5 am,8) the National Hurricane Center
confirmed that Irene could gain plenty of strength
before making landfall that weekend. NY City was last
hit by the meanest storm in 1985, when Hurricane
Gloria caused widespread damage. Hurricane Gloria
was a Category 2 storm. Hurricane Irene was still
Category 2, and could still easily gather strength before
it hits NY on Sunday. So the pastors of Manmin branch
churches in NY and New Jersey asked prayer to Rev.
Dr. Jaerock Lee in Korea for this emergency. Manmin
Central Church in Seoul, Korea has a Friday overnight

service every week filled with the Holy Spirit from
11:00 p.m. Fri. to 4:00 a.m. Sat. During the service Dr.
Lee prays for patients nearly at the end. On Aug 27 Sat.
around 3:05 a.m. in Korea, i.e. on Aug 26 Fri. 2:05 p.m.
in NY, during his prayer for patients, he prayed also for
that the hurricane lose power. And very interestingly,
just a few minutes before his prayer, at 2:00 p.m. in NY,
at the press conference Friday afternoon, NY City's
Mayor Michael Bloomberg ordered the city's first-ever,
unprecedented mandatory evacuation for all residents
living in low-lying areas.9,10) The worst of the storm
was expected Saturday night into Sunday. Michael
Bloomberg said, "Irene was a life-threatening storm."11)
Now what do you think happened after prayer? Irene
weakened and weakened! It was downgraded to a
Category 1 hurricane on Sat. August 27.12) It continued
to weaken to a not-disastrous tropical storm on Sun.
August 28. No more a hurricane. A few more hours
later, Irene made its final landfall in Brooklyn, New
York City.
Why did Irene slow down from a category 3 storm to a
not-disastrous tropical storm so quickly once it made
landfall? Without more data, no one can say for sure.
The point is, until the storm hit, all the very best data
suggested it might have the power to flood large parts
of Manhattan.13)

When hurricane Irene failed to flood Manhattan as
predicted over the weekend, many people even called
the evacuation an overreaction to media hype. Do you
agree with this opinion? I think you know better than
that. Now you know that they failed to predict God's
supernatural intervention.
Several months before Hurricane Irene in 2011, Dr.

In 2013 Manmin Summer Retreat, in the evening
at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Lee's outdoor seminar was held.
Around 7:40 pm, it started to rain. And soon large
drops of rain began to pour upon the retreat local, but
the members believed God's providence and listened
to Dr. Lee's message without moving. But it seemed
obvious to rain torrentially. Then Dr. Lee prayed
saying, "Rain, stop!" and asked God to give them
good weather. Just after a little while, the thick black
clouds became to be split up and shining stars began
to be seen in the clear night sky.17) It was still raining
nationwide. But only in that retreat place the heavy
rain stopped.

But you remember Elijah not only blocked rain
through his earnest prayer but also when he prayed the
heavens gave rain.
Chennai, India, is the place where the apostle Thomas
preached the gospel and was martyred. Chennai is one
of the largest cities in India. A 4-day revival meeting
was decided to be held starting from October 10th
2002 on Marina Beach, the world's second longest
beach. But at that time in Chennai, India, they had
been in drought for the past 3 years. It was one of the
most severe drought. They had not had any rain for 9
months. It was a major social problem there. The whole
city of Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu state, went
on a general strike on October 9th against the central
government because of water supply problems. The
strike was set to paralyse state to condemn the attitude
of the Karnataka state Government in not releasing
Cauvery river water to the state Tamil Nadu even
though it was ordered by the Supreme Court.18)
At around 10:00 p.m. on October 8th 2002 (one day
before the strike), Dr. Lee arrived at Chennai airport.
And it was drizzling! When Dr. Lee got into the car
and was leaving the airport, heavy rain began to fall.
I said that they had not had any rain for 9 months.
People who came out there to welcome him were so
happy even though they were getting wet. And then
it rained everyday from time to time while he stayed
there. So people there even called Dr. Lee 'Rain Man'

saying he brought the rains with him.
On the 3rd day of the revival meeting, something
unexpected happened. Suddenly there was a strong
wind and very heavy rain during the sermon. There
was thunder and lightning too. People could not even
open their eyes fully because of the pouring rain. Some
attendants were becoming uneasy. It seemed they were
going to leave. For the past 20 years, God had always
given good weather in any kind of his outdoor event.
Even the heavy rain used to stop through prayer. So it
was his first time to get soaked with rain. But he kept
on preaching in this heavy rain, and also prayed for the
sick. And all this without even having an umbrella!19)
That revival meeting was live broadcast on 4 TV
channels as well as on the Internet. So numerous
people watched it. They saw the true love of the Christ,
and the love of God was deeply engraved in their
hearts.
What do you think happened the next day, the last
day of the revival meeting? A record-breaking 1.5
million people gathered at Marina Beach. It was like
all the sand on the beach turned into people. The
police reported to the Tamil Nadu government and the
Central Government that more than 3 million people
in total gathered over the 4 days period, and they had
a peaceful Christian event without any accidents. The
local pastors said in harmony that Jesus Christ the only
Savior was preached and the word was confirmed by
the signs. And surprisingly again, the organizers said

that more than 60% of the attendants were Hindus.20)
God the Creator
Now you can understand that nature obeys God.
All the things in nature are absolutely under God's
authority because He created nature.
Then before creation in the beginning, what was He
like originally? John 1:1 says, "In the beginning was the
Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God." In 1John 1:5, "God is Light and in Him there is
no darkness at all." So we may think that God existed
as light before the beginning. Then what was the light
like? We can think He governed the entire expanse
of time and space in the midst of clear, splendid, and
beautiful original Light like a rainbow or fantastic
auroras as observed in the sky of the polar regions. And
also very bright and strong light. In spiritual sense,
God is perfect goodness and truth itself that has no sin
or evil whatsoever. The members of Manmin Central
Church enjoy capturing pictures in and around the
church of the aurora-like lights with their cell phone
cameras. They captured a variety of fascinating images
in colors. Through the aurora-like lights they feel how
beautiful the original light of God is, thereby increasing
their heavenly hope and faith. They get inspired to long

Pavel Kalmykov had been operated in 2012 on
coronary artery bypass graft surgery, mammary
coronary bypass surgery due to coronary artery
disease. Pavel was hospitalized on 15th October 2013
because of paroxysmal constricting pains, which
occurred during mild physical activities. His condition
at that time was moderate.
However on 25th October he suddenly felt worse.
He got an acute left ventricular heart failure and a
pulmonary edema. He was immediately moved to ICU,
where he spent several days under the intensive care.
His condition in the meantime became much worse.
He was given morphine so that he could sleep all the
time. Because of his aggravated condition, his wife was
told to be ready for the worst–Pavel’s death.
On the evening of 26th October she told Pavel’s
brother(Yuri Kalmykov) who is a pastor in Israel to ask
him to pray for Pavel Kalmykov. At the moment Pastor
Pulmonary edema on 25th Oct. 2013.

Pastor Soojin Lee prayed

Soojin Lee, an assistant pastor of Manmin Central
Church, who is also a daughter of Rev. Dr. Jae Rock
Lee, was in Israel speaking at a handkerchief prayer
meeting. So she prayed for Pavel Kalmykov with the
handkerchief.
Right after the prayer, on the third day after Pavel was
moved to ICU (On the morning of 27th October), he
woke up by himself, ate some food and fell asleep again
by himself, without the help of morphine. On 30th
October Pavel was discharged. Now he is still working
on construction site, which is hard labor, especially
having his condition. It is a miracle that he can work
and live with such diagnosis. He still needs a lot of
prayer for his complete healing.

Jorge had experienced the Resurrection Power of God
in Jesus Christ in 2009. He had experienced a sharp/
moderate to severe abdominal pain went to the ER twice the
same day and he was sent home. The second time he had a
massive rectal bleeding , collapsed and was resuscitated at
the ER then immediately was taken to the operating room.
A STAT laparatomy was performed. Remained few
hours in the OR and finally when he was taking to ICU
due to multiple organ failures ( Heart, Lungs, Kidney
etc) he was in an induced coma and put in an assisted
cardiopulmonary devices. He remained in coma
for one month with an open abdomen, because the
surgical wound was not closed at this time.
At the time of the first surgery his wife was told that
he had only 4% chance of getting alive after the coma.
And if would get alive he will need to be hooked to
ventilators, and hemodialysis will be performed every
other day as long as he lived. His wife, their pastor
and “some of the congregation” refused to believe that
he will be either dead or in coma state. They started
earnestly praying to Jesus. Word of prophecy came to their
pastor that Jorge will be restored fully to health. So one
month later all the healing process started one by one. Even
their finances were healed. Because they decided to believe
God the Father in Jesus name than to man and the Devil.
First when he was disconnected he could breathe
without any assisting device. His Heart could beat
without a pacemaker. He recovered fully his brain
functions. Then he received new operations for his
intestines and remained with a colostomy. As he
refused to believe that he had to have a permanent
Colostomy and also that his kidney were dead. He himself
with the Church started to ask God for new intestines
and new kidneys. Jorge has so strong faith that in front of
the Urologist he went to void the doctor was so thrill and
amaze that the same day run new Kidney function test,
they resulted to be optimal and therefore he ordered the
reversal of the AV Fistula. No more Hemo Dialysis.
The Hospital accountant came telling Jorge and his wife
that they owe 1 miilion Dollars to the Hospital and they
will have to pay. Jorge’s immediate answer “ I do not owe
you nothing, Jesus Christ pain in full for me at the Cross”
he continued saying these words and it happened.
Jorge is now a Pastor and with a strong faith in the Resurrection
Power of God spreads the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Nóa was born on 10.05.2013 at the National Hospital
in the Faroe Islands.
Already berfore birth, his mother was afraid something
was wrong with her baby.
The start of convulsions.
Few hours after birth convulsions, strong, steady, and
repeatedly, started. First in his right leg, then in his
right hand and arm and finally in his face.
Doctors gave intravenous phenemal, but it resulted in
Nóa getting respiratory arrest periods each lasting 2-3
minutes, so they had to stop.
Because of these repeated breathing problems, which
required assisted respiration, they gave intravenous
Lidokain and ordered CT scans and lumbal puncture.
Furthermore they prepared for emergency baptism-

because they were afraid Nóa was dying.
The result scan and diagnosis of the CT.
The CT scan showed that on the left side, temporoparieto- occipi-talt was a big well-defined
homogeneous area with reduced density- all the way to
cortex- of appearance as a major infarction.
The scans diagnosis was: Infarctus Cerebri sin.
Transportion to Denmark.
The convulisons and respiratory arrest periods went
on for hours and it was nessecary to give assisted
ventilation.
Doctors told his parents, that if Nóa survived the next
hours they would send him to a specialized intensive
pediatric unit in Denmark (two hours by airplain). The
respirator was made ready.
Praying for Nóa.
But first he state church priest at the hospital came to
baptize Nóa, this is typically performed when you fear
that the child is going to die.
But his parents also called one of their friends who
is known for praying for the sick. He had prayed for
Nóa’s mother 3. months before birth and declared, that
her child one day would play football with his father.
Nóa’s father remembered this promise from the Lord
and called this man of God to come and pray for the
child.
So after the official baptism this friend put his hand on
Nóa and prayed for healing.
Convulsions and apnoe periods stopped.
After the praying peace fell over the child and the
peace filled the room. Many, inclusive nurses, were
crying and the Holy Spirit filled the whole room.
Nóa has only a minimal tendency to lag, othervise his
development corresponds to his age.
And on November 2014 a physiotherapist decleared:
Nóa has no sequelae from the clot.
On febr. 2015 the same specialist in children's diseases
decleared .
Nóa is walking and running without problems. There
is no differenc between his right and left leg, and there
is no difference in movements of arms and hands on
the two sides.
His development is satisfactory, and there is no reason
to have as many examinations.
Since the day they prayed for Nóa at the hospital, there
have been no more convulsions, Halleluja!
The convulsions and apnoe periods stopped and the
doctors canceled sending Nóa to Denmark!
Five days later, Nóa left the hospital to his future home
in the town of Klaksvik.

Background
The Fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22) are not only an
essential part of our maturity as believers, they are also
essential to normal physiology and health. Mankind
has known intuitively that there is an association
between ‘negative emotional states’ and ill health.
However, it is only recently that science has started to
delineate specific consequences.
Results
Science is confirming that the opposites of the Fruit
of the Spirit produce susceptibility to illness also
called Roots of Disease or the Fruit of the Flesh.
Separation from God, others and ourselves makes all
of us vulnerable to fear, guilt and shame (Gen 3:1012 MKJV) or the amygdala responses of fear, anger
and disgust. However, when we choose to react
habitually according to our ‘natural’, fallen nature we

produce the Fruit of the Flesh ? also called anxiety,
depression and low self-esteem. As these states persist,
susceptibility to disease increases. The associations
are not random, however, and can be derived from
basic embryology: Our bodies are woven together (Ps
139:15-16) from ectoderm, mesoderm and endoderm.
The ectoderm forms the interactive, regulatory or
relational structures; the mesoderm forms the mobile
or behavioral structures and; the endoderm forms the
absorptive and sustaining structures. Not surprisingly,
the ectoderm is most vulnerable to relational stressors
? the opposites of Love, Joy and Peace: Unlovingness
compromises our skin (including psoriasis, eczema,
etc.); Sadness affects the brain (including dementia
and Parkinson’s disease, etc.); and Conflict affects the
autonomic nervous system including regulation of
blood vessels and organs. The mesoderm is affected by
behavioral stressors which are the opposites of Patience
(withholding the bad), Goodness (being functional),
and Kindness (doing good): Impatience (hostility
? Type A trait) affects our cardiovascular system
(including coronary heart disease); Dysfunction
affects our bone marrow (including autoimmunity
and cancer); and Cruelty our musculoskeletal tissues
(including arthritis). The endoderm is affected
the opposites of Faithfulness, Gentleness and SelfControl: Unfaithfulness affects e.g., our liver (including
Hepatitis B & C); Harshness affects parts of our
endocrine system (including thyroid problems);
and Self-indulgence affects our intestines (including
obesity).
Conclusions
The purpose of showing these associations is neither
oversimplification nor for the purpose of judging or
condemning those with chronic illness. Rather we
should all realize that true discipleship ? which is
learning to walk in love and expressing the Fruit of the
Spirit ? is not only important for our eternal destiny, it
is also essential to our health.

I thank the Lord Jesus Christ, that if not for the word of
God, I would have been dead in 2006. What happened
in 2006? I had a cancer relapse after my first bout of
breast cancer in 1994. In 1994 I had 3rd stage breast
cancer. I went through chemotherapy and radiotherapy
and was then in remission till 2006. In 2006 the cancer
relapse had gone into the 4th stage; it was in my left
lymph node just above the left breast and it had also
spread to my sternum and the whole chest wall.
I was awfully fearful because I know for a fact that
most 4th stage cancer patients die within a short
period of time. It was only natural to see an oncologist
right away. Then I was underwent 7 months of
chemotherapy and radiotherapy from February to
August 2006. After the gruesome and great suffering
treatment, I went for a CT scan in September 2006.
Much to my disappointment, the result was heart

rendering. The lymph node cancer tumour remained
the same size of 6x7x4 cm, not the slightest bit of size
reduction. In addition, the sternum and the whole
chest were still filled with cancer cells. The oncologist
asked me to “Go home, live one day at a time and
enjoy life”. Nothing else there is for the oncologist to
do. At this I was broken down to tears. My husband
and I went home and hugged each other for 3 days
and 3 nights crying buckets of tears. This means the
end of my life is very near. I wouldn’t let go of my dear
husband and my son who was then still studying in
Melbourne.
I refused to die at such a young age of 50. I had no
one to turn to except to cry to the Lord for mercy to
heal me to let me live and not die. I began to pray and
pray and God spoke to me through His word in Psalm
107:20 “I sent my word and healed your disease. I will
rescue you from the grave”.
This verse jumped at me because it said God has
already HEALED me. He did not say He is going
to heal me but already HEALED me. I began to
understand how the spiritual realm works because God
is spirit. I began to connect my spirit with the Spirit of
God daily at 5am for 2 to 3 hours through Worship,
Word and Prayers. Each time I spend these precious
intimate hours with God, God will always show me a
particular verse for the day. I will then quickly go to
my laptop and type the verse on power point, print it
out and paste the verse on the wall in my bedroom.
Eventually the whole wall of my bedroom was pasted
with sheets and sheets of A4 size papers with God’s
word.
Then each morning as I woke up at 5am, I will kneel
beside my bed, face the wall and pray those bible verses
to God. I began to meditate on those words till they
take root in my spirit. I was hardworking at it because
I did not want to die and I had no one to turn to but
God and God alone.
In my case, chemotherapy and radiotherapy failed
and I had only one way to go and I call it WORD
THERAPY. My bedroom wall that was filled with all of
God’s promises was my WORD THERAPY. As I recite
more and more of His word, the spirit of fear slowly left
me and I began to feel God’s peace in spite of my ongoing pain in the lymph node, sternum and chest wall.
During that time of struggling daily with great pain, I
learnt then that faith has nothing to do with feelings,
and feelings have nothing to do with faith. Faith has
everything to do with meditating and hearing the word
of God.
It was really not easy dealing with death staring at me
during and after treatment. I needed a lot of support
in prayers. MY SIBKL church pastors, elders, many
church members and family members continuously
prayed for me. In one of my senior Pastor Chew Weng
Chee prayers in July 2006, he told me that as while he
was praying for me, he sensed that God will heal me
because there’s a greater purpose for me to fulfil that
is to support those who are suffering and who are in
need.
I was very encouraged by his prayer and I started to ask
God to use me for His glory. Since then I kept telling
God and myself that I shall not die but live, to declare
the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17).
As I continue to seek God as my Healer for my healing,
one morning in 2006 during my quiet time, God spoke
through my spirit to write a book and He even gave
me the title of the book ‘THERE IS HOPE’. I prayed

to God and said I would not write because He has not
healed me; I was still a 4th stage cancer patient and
no one would buy my book. But each morning when I
woke up I hear Him asking me to write the book again
and again. I finally obeyed because I remembered I
have declared Psalm 118:17 that I shall not die but live
to declare the works of the Lord. So I wrote my book
saying there is great HOPE in spite of my 4th stage
cancer because I BELIEVE that God will heal me one day.
The book THERE IS HOPE was finally launched by
my senior pastor Chew Weng Chee and myself at the
church service in June 2007. On looking back, indeed I
was very brave to write a book to declare that God will
one day heal me when I was still a 4th cancer patient. I
don’t know at that time where my bravery came from.
It must be powered by the Spirit of the Living God.
After writing and launching the book, and the book
being sold in Christian book stores around the country,
I was still not healed. I cried to God and asked why?
God was silent on this. Instead He asked me to embark
on the next project that is to start a Cancer Support
Group. During my prayers, I said “God this can’t be.
You have not even healed me and You now want me
to start a Cancer Support Group. Lord have mercy on
me; I am a 4th stage cancer patient and still in pain and
feeling weak and don’t even have the strength to walk

steadily. Who would ever want to come to a Cancer
Support Group headed by a weak 4th stage cancer
patient? Lord, I would feel so bad if no one turns up.
Please please don’t put me through this.” And I cried
and cried. Somehow the Lord kept saying to me I
must start this Cancer Support Group. Then I asked
God why? The Lord says “As you comfort others, you
yourself will be comforted, as you refresh others, you
yourself will be refreshed, as you pray for others, you
yourself will get the healing”. Wow! When I heard from
the Lord that I myself will get my healing, straight
away I started the Cancer Support Group in spite of my
pain and weakness. I was so desperate to live!
As a result Elpizo Cancer Support Group was birthed
in July 2007. Elpizo is a Greek word which means ‘I
hope in God’. On the day of launch 12 people turned
up! God did not put me to shame, He is faithful.
Hallelujah!
I began to gather strength as I visited cancer patients
and prayed for them. My spirit man was strengthened
as I served God, and I began to command my cancer
cells to wither and die at its roots in Jesus name. God
must have heard my prayers and the prayers of the
righteous including my younger sister who is a pastor.
Just two months after I started the Elpizo Cancer
Support Group, in September 2007 my CT scan
showed the lymph node tumour was suddenly reduced
by 70% from the size of a plum (6x7x4cm) to the size
of a lime (4x4x3cm).
As I continued to do God’s work in Elpizo Cancer
Support Group, one year later in August 2008, my CT
scan showed that the lymph node tumour was further
reduced to a hazel nut size (2x2x1.5cm) and guess
what? It is no more cancer! It is only a normal fibrotic
tissue, NOT CANCER AT ALL! I was declared free
of cancer as shown in the scan report “No evidence
of metastasis”. Who would have done this? But only
Jesus and Jesus alone! At last after 2 and a half years of
struggling with 4th stage cancer, God finally gave me a
miracle healing. What a miracle working God who is
the same yesterday, today and forever. Hallelujah!
I then just casually asked God if He could even make
the hazel nut size normal fibrotic tissue disappear for I
believe that God will bring to completion what He has
begun. And true enough one year later in August 2009,
my CT scan showed the hazel nut size normal fibrotic
tissue completely disappeared! Praise God!
So did I keep quiet about my miracle healing? No, I
obeyed God as His word ask us to glorify His name.
I wrote my second edition of THERE IS HOPE book
on the journey of my complete healing by the Lord
Jesus Christ. The book together with a DVD were

launched by my senior Pastor Chew Weng Chee again
in SIBKL church with me giving my testimony to the
congregation in February 2010.
Many heard of my miracle healing and invited me to
their churches to share my testimony. I was so glad
to go round these churches to share because the bible
verse Genesis 50:20 which I held very close to my heart
came to past.
Genesis 50:20 ‘You meant to harm me, but God meant
it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the
saving of many lives”.
I kept this verse in my heart since 2006 when I said
to God that I shall not die but live to declare the
works of the Lord. I told the Lord that I want to see
satan defeated. And I want to be able to tell the world
of God’s victory. When I testify now in churches or
wherever, I can say straight into the face of satan citing
Genesis 50:20. Praise God!
Many newspapers and magazines also caught up to
interview me on this miracle healing. I used to be in
advertising making my clients’ brands famous, but
now I appear in these newspapers and magazines to
make Jesus famous. Hallelujah! All glory to God who
even make it possible for so many newspapers and
magazines to want to interview me.
Through these publicity, many people came to know
of Elpizo Cancer Support Group. In July 2014 during
our 7th anniversary, 70 cancer survivors and their

caregivers turned up at SIBKL premise.
Praise God! Many people who came to Elpizo also
received their miracle healing. One man was healed
of thyroid and liver cancer in 9 months! Another man
was healed of stomach cancer in 10 months! A lady
was healed of ovarian cancer in 12 months! Another
lady healed of thyroid cancer in 12 months! And many
more healed of breast cancer and even colon and
pancreatic and bone cancer! Praise God and praise
God and praise God!
Some who were healed started cancer support groups
in other churches. Thank God that His kingdom has
advanced. Nothing can stop God when His hand is on
it.
Upon reflection, looking back at the July 2006 prayer of
my senior Pastor Chew Weng Chee, that prayer came
to past. That prayer where he sensed that God will heal
me because there’s a greater purpose for me to fulfil
that is to support those who are suffering and who are
in need. Indeed God saved me for a purpose to write
the book THERE IS HOPE and to start the Elpizo
Cancer Support
Group that have touched thousands of lives bringing
them hope, peace and God’s love. How can I ever thank
God enough? I can’t find words to thank Him enough.
But I found a place in my heart to serve the Almighty,
the Living God for the rest of my days…

After the eye-opening, faith-building, friendship-forging, and God-glorifying WCDN

conference in Sophia, I eagerly waited an entire year for the recent 12th WCDN International
Conference in Malaysia. And throughout the time, I looked at the world differently, through
new eyes of faith and love.
In Sophia, I had the chance to serve refugees in 2 days of clinic prior to the conference. That
experience gave me God's heart for outcasts, strangers, and refugees and I began to hear
their cries for help. In response, God sent me to Lebanon and Jordan to help those displaced
by ISIS to refugee camps.
Having heard the testimonies in Sophia, I looked at my patients and contacts differently. I
began seeking opportunities to pray for healing with a new faith. Unfortunately, I have not
yet witnessed a miraculous healing.
The conference in Malaysia was very special. Not only did health professionals present
provocative, evidence-based miracles of healing, we heard and experienced the preaching
and ministry of Rev. Heesun Lee, and received first-hand accounts of healings directly from
patients. My faith is rekindled and stirred and I am again, on the look out for opportunities
to pray for and expect healing miracles. Dr. Lee prayed for my sister who has an incurable,
debilitating disease. I am eager to see God answer her prayer and mine.
Having the chance to meet up with old friends from last year's conference and to make new
friends this year is not just enjoyable but the fellowship with like-minded colleagues stirs me
and spurs me to love and good deeds.
I've been to other doctor meetings before. I've been to other Christian conferences before.
I've been to Christian doctor events before. But there is nothing like the WCDN to stretch
and strengthen my faith in an Almighty and loving God.

The congress was held in the main ballroom of Hotel Sunway Putra, situated
in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. A total of more than 300 participants from
30 countries all over the world, came in one mind and soul to attend and
participate in this Annual meeting. The hall was packed with prayerful and
active participation from all who came.
Both the days started with praise and worship conducted by the group and
band from the Tamil Methodist Church, Kuala, Lumpur. This was followed
by several key speakers presenting plenary lectures on the theme for the
Congress “Spirituality and Medicine”. There were several evidence-based case
reports and healing testimonies from the delegates from several countries.
There was a special healing service at the end of the first day conducted by
Rev Heesun Lee. This session which lasted more than 2 hours, was open
to the public and was very well attended. Those who came were indeed
blessed. The Korean ‘Power Team’ too sang, danced and praised God in their
presentation, much to delight and applause of the delegates.
Being a member of the local Organising committee and also the M.C. for
the event along with Dr. David Pallia, I must state a lot of planning and effort
was put in by all and particularly by Datuk Dr. Daniel Thuraiappah, Pastor
Job and Rev. Justine Clarence. Continuous coordination with the Korean
Manmin Church, (under the stewardship of Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee) who
whole-heartedly sponsored and financially supported this event ensured the
meeting was a success.
Many went home refreshed and enriched and many more are looking
forward to next year’s meeting in Valencia, Spain.
All praise and glory to God our Saviour, Healer and Redeemer.

The Breath of Life
and the Seed of Life
G
od the Creator planned to cultivate andgain His true children
He would be able to share everlasting, unchanging and true love with,
and performed amazing works of creation for His plan. Through the first man Adam who was
created as a living being, we can feel the will and deep love of God embedded in His creation of men.

“The providence of God’s
creation of heavens and earth
and humans is love!”
“In the beginning God created the
heavens and the earth. Then God
said, ‘Let there be light’; and there
was light.” (Genesis 1:1, 3)
Since before the ages, God existed
in the original universe as the
Voice wearing the Light (John 1:1;

1 John 1:5). After a long period of
time passed, God who was alone
in the universe planned to cultivate
His true children who can share
eternal love with Him. The first
thing God did to carry out the
plan of human cultivation was to
divide the original universe into
four spaces. After that, the God
who was the Light in the whole
universe condensed Himself into a
shape, and formed Himself into the
Trinity: God the Father, God the
Son and God the Spirit.
The four spaces are respectively
the first space for the dwelling of
God the Trinity, the second space
for the dwelling of saved children
of God, the third space necessary
for human cultivation, and the
fourth space for God’s creation and
cultivation of men. God created the
heavens and the earth, and formed
the first man of the dust from the
ground.
“Then God said, ‘Let Us make man
in Our image, according to Our
likeness; and let them rule over the
fish of the sea and over the birds
of the sky and over the cattle and
over all the earth, and over every
creeping thing that creeps on the
earth.’ God created man in His own
image, in the image of God He
created him; male and female He
created them.” (Genesis 1:26-27)
Could you imagine how beautiful
and lovely the first man who was
created in the likeness and image of
God looked to Him? God blessed
the first man to live as the lord of
all creatures.
“Adam, a living being, was
in the most optimal state in
which the breath of life of
God controls the body”
“Then the LORD God formed
man of dust from the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life; and man became
a living being. The LORD God
planted a garden toward the east,
in Eden; and there He placed
the man whom He had formed.”
(Genesis 2:7-8)
As God the Creator formed the first
man of the dust from the ground
with His original light in His hands,
his shape as a man was becoming
complete. As God formed the
head of the man and the arms
of the man, they turned into
complete head and complete arms
of a human body. How amazing
and mysterious it is! When God
breathed His breath of life into
the man’s nostrils, the man’s heart
began pounding, blood moving
around and all the cells and tissues
functioning. His brain also began
working, his eyes and ears seeing
and hearing, and his hands and feet
moving.
The 37th chapter of the Book
of Ezekiel introduces a vision of
the work of the breath of life. It
speaks of the same principle of the
spiritual realm though it is a vision.
When God’s word was proclaimed,
the bones came together, bone to
its bone, sinews were on them, and
flesh grew and skin covered them.
And when the breath came into
them, they came to life and stood
on their feet. And the 11th chapter
of the Book of Revelation speaks of
the martyrdom and resurrection of
the Two Witnesses. When they are
martyred during the 7-year Great
Tribulation, they are raised again
through the work of the breath of
life that enter them.
The breath of life is the fountain
of the works of life. When God
breathed His breath of life into the
first man’s nostrils, the breath of life
entered the nucleus of the cell that
is the focus of life in the body of
Adam, and Adam began to move
and became a living being. Adam,
as a living spirit, and was taken into
and lived in the Garden of Eden
that belongs to the spiritual realm,
and the breath of life has been
handed down onto his children
and their children.
In the Garden of Eden, when
Adam’s children are conceived and

grow, they are affected through the
breath of life. All the nucleuses of
the cells for all the parts of the body
are controlled by the breath of life,
so all men in the Garden of Eden
have milky white skin, the hair
with golden lights, and perfect and
flawless body from head to toe.
Men in the Garden of Eden grow
until they pass the age of a young
man, and after this point they stop
growing. Since then, their body
does not get old and maintains the
same condition. It is because the
breath of life rules over the nucleus
of the cell that originally controls
the body.
“The breath of life was taken
away and only the trace
of the seed of life was left
behind”
“Then the LORD God took the
man and put him into the garden
of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.
The LORD God commanded the
man, saying, ‘From any tree of the
garden you may eat freely; but

from the tree of the knowledge of
good and evil you shall not eat, for
in the day that you eat from it you
will surely die’” (Genesis 2:15-17).
In the Garden of Eden, Adam
and Eve had been fruitful and
multiplied for a long period of
time. But they didn’t keep the
command of God in their hearts,
and ended up eating from the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil
in their free will. God took away
most of the breath of life from them
and left its trace behind like a small
seed. This is the seed of life.
When God took away the breath of
life from Adam, he was put to death
as prophesied, “You will surely die.”
He was driven out of the Garden of
Eden and had to live on this earth?a
part of the physical world. As time
passed, his body got old and he
finally died and was buried into
a tomb. As he had the seed of life
within him, he missed the Garden
of Eden and thoroughly repented
of his disobedience and then could
enter the kingdom of Heaven.
How could then the descendants
of sinned Adam enter the kingdom
of Heaven? In the 6th month of
conception, the God of love send
the spirit having the seed of life in
it to a fetus and plants the seed of
life into the nucleus of the cell that
is the focus of life in the heart of its
body. It means God plants a part
of the original light covering the
power of God into the nucleus of
the cell that is the focus in the heart
of every fetus. This is why men can
even vaguely feel the existence of
the age to come unlike animals.
It is just the same as recorded in
Ecclesiastes 3:11, “He has made
everything appropriate in its time.
He has also set eternity in their
heart” and this is the work of the
breath of life.
The mysterious
order of a human body
set up by God
God puts something like ‘a map’ which contains all the
genetic information of a man into the nucleus of his
cells. And this is so called, DNA. DNA is like a twisted
double ribbon or strand, and the coiled central filament
which constitutes the core of the chromosome strand
? chromatid - is called the ‘chromonema.’ A single
piece of coiled DNA containing many genes is called a
chromosome.
Inside a cell of a man, there are 23 pairs of these
chromosomes. In these 46 chromosomes, all the
genetic information about a man is contained. Facial
look, height, physical constitution, skin color, etc;
all kinds of information about organisms and their
function are contained there. God knows where in
which number of chromosome certain information is
stored.
To help you understand better, let me site an example.
Say, there is a car factory which is fully automated. The
1st production line makes car engines, the 2nd line,
car bodies, and 3rd line, steering wheels. In addition
to these, there are other production lines that produce
other parts. All these production lines unite together,
and at the end of the final line, a new car is produced.
When people turn the switch of the production line
on, all the parts of a car are produced at once, and they
make a fully assembled car in the end.
DNA inside a cell nucleus is just like the fully
automated production lines. When skin gets injured,

the cells around the injury start to work so that
bleeding can stop, and that new skin can come up.
There is a certain amount of self healing power in a
man’s body. But this power has a limit. That’s why, even
though a small injury will become normal as some
time period passes by, a big injury can leave a scar. It
means it didn’t recover to an original normal status.
On the other hand, by the power of God, a recovery
that transcends the limit of flesh can take place. For
example, in a case of a 3rd degree burn, it can never
be restored to the original state with fleshly methods.
However, it can be completely recovered to normal
with spiritual methods. That is, God can recreate the
injured part due to the burn.

Knowing Trees

Their Fruits
You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn
bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?
Matthew 7:16
We can tell that this is a grape tree and that is an apple
tree by seeing their fruits.
Although it’s difficult just by seeing leaves,
branches and trunk, we can clearly distinguish trees
when we see their fruit. It’s the same with humans.
Whether they are of evilness or goodness, or whether
they have faith or not, we can know the person,
by seeing their fruits.
No matter how properly a person may act
demonstrating manners and etiquette, the fruits of
goodness cannot be borne with a deceiving heart.

accomplish what Jesus said in Matthew 28-29, share th Gospel to the
ends of the world.

During these three years I have been involved in many activities.
As the President of a Christian Association of the Evangelical Psychologist in Italy

What’s more, I have a real burden from God’s heart for the unity
of the Body of Christ. So, as a church, we are establishing inter
confessional relations, holding meetings with different Christian
leaders. Last year we received the visit of Pope Francesco Bergoglio
in our Caserta's church, and this last May we went to his residence
in Rome with a group of one hundred pastors.
Finally in June 2015 we've inaugurated a new building for our church
in Palermo.
I regret for my absence in the last international conferences of
WCDN, but I'm sure I’ll be with you all in Spain.

Dr Daniel Thuaiappah is receiving the award from the
President of the Academy of Family Physicians Malaysia.
He received a pewter plaque for serving the Academy
for 28 years. So he is recognised his contribution to the
Academy he has served the Academy in many capacities.

For many years, I’ve been volunteered as
a short-term medical missionary around
the world. I’ve been on teams to beautiful
places like Myanmar, Thailand, Kenya, Japan,
and Jamaica and difficult areas like Sudan,
Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, and India. But until
last year, when I first joined with WCDN in
Sophia, Bulgaria, I had never served refugees.
I saw how the clinics sponsored by Dr. Jaerock
Lee, the Manmin Church, and WCDN brought
God’s love and light to desperate people living
in darkness.
Since then, I have been going with friends

to the middle east to help the refugees with
medical care and basic relief supplies. We
worked in Lebanon and Jordan to help people
fleeing war and persecution in Syria and N.
Africa. We hope to return to help the Kurdish
people soon. Our patients suffered from heart
disease, diabetes, insomnia, arthritis, anxiety,
depression, and skin diseases while their
children had burns, bed-wetting, facial tumors,
blindness, anxiety, and depression. By God’s
grace we were able to help many of them. And
by His mercy many of them have come to know
His love personally.

I am Dr Fidel Fernandez, Pathologist and a professor
in the Faculty of Medicine at the SEGi University in
Selangor Malaysia. I am with my wife Ms. Leticia
A. Fernandez who is a nurse but generally retired
and acts as a part time adviser for a care giving
organization here. We are both Filipinos from
Zamboanga City which is in the southern part of the
Philippine archipelago.
We have been involved in the ministry of Christ,
ministering in different levels and roles at various
times since we accepted Christ in 1982. We have
gone through most of the common roles that a
Christian undergoes such as one on one evangelism,
street corner preaching, bus jeepney preaching of
the gospel. Later on, we got into church planting
where we preached and built Christian fellowships
in some communities in Manila and neighboring
provinces. We had a house church where we lived
and held a small hotel fellowship. It was called
the Christian Unity and Helps Fellowship Ministry
(CUHF), which was generally funded by a Christian
philanthropist. In this ministry we helped Christians
in various income generating activities such as food
preservation and poultry and swine raising etc. My
wife was in charge of a telephone ministry where
she was the counselor to some callers. While I had to
care for the church along with other assigned pastors
from different affiliated churches. There was also
the prison ministry where we organized churches in
prisons. In the University, I was involved with the
Campus Crusade for Christ Ministries called Agape
Life Fellowship where I became their adviser for
some years. Many miracles took place during these
times.
In 2004 I attended the Haggai Institute in Maui
Hawaii a Christian leadership course and there I
came to realize that we become what we are not of
our own but because of Gods plan. I was convinced
by the messages and lessons at the Haggai Institute
and I knew that God has made me a professional
for the need in His church. Upon my return back
home, by God’s Grace, I made a move to influence
professionals, conducting bible studies with various
professional groups in the city. We were working as
a team me, my wife and the church. We ministered
to groups of health professionals, businessmen,
government workers and the military, organizing
Christianity based seminars and workshops catering
not only to Christians but to all religious groups.
Not too long then we got involved in WCDN. It
was on the organization of the 3rd International
Christian Doctors conference which was to be held
in Cebu City Philippines. I never heard of WCDN but
through a phone call by Pastor Sharon of the Manmin
church in Cavite on 28th of December, I learned
about the 3rd international conference and there I
got involved. With our involvement in the WCDN, it
got us into more exposure to medical professional
both locally and internationally. We have not only
been attending the WCDN yearly conferences but
also organizing pocket conferences in various parts
of the world introducing the Lord Jesus, His gospel
and His ministry of Divine Healing through the World

physiotherapist and others. We conduct bible
studies and discuss testimonies, pray for the sick
and intercede. Many souls are blessed. There had
been requests from some sectors for WCDN doctors

in Malaysia. Being actively involved in the WCDN
has made us more mature in Christ. It has definitely
added to us first hand experiences with God

on the 1st and 2nd of June, 2006 under the supervision of WCDN.

Some 240 Christian doctors and medical professionals from 43 countries recently
traveled to Sofia, the political, economic, and cultural center of Bulgaria, for the 11th
Annual World Christian Doctors Network (WCDN) Conference, where they met to
“Glorify the Great Physician” and discuss “Medicine, Science and Spirituality.”
Each of these medical professionals, who gathered during May 9-10, 2014, at venue
in the city, believed that “spiritual healing” is an answer to sickness in the 21st
century. They said that medicine alone cannot deal with some serious illnesses. They
also believed that miracles should be “documented” and various respected doctors
presented actual case studies of miracles with the medical evidence to back them up.

of Spirit'. He presented evidential data that prove the spiritual realm. It drew great responses and served as a
good opportunity to give a thought of men's origin that consists of spirit, soul, and body.

The 12th WCDN (World Christian Doctors Network) Conference held in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia on May 16-17, 2015, ended successfully.
In the presence of 350 medical professionals from 31 countries around the world, the
conference began with the welcoming message of the organizing committee chairman
Prof. Datuk Dr. Daniel. M. Thuraiappah, who is also the president of the Academy of
Family Physicians of Malaysia, and the greeting message of the president of WCDN,
Dr. Gilbert Chae (Doctor of Medicine, General Surgeon). It was followed by a variety of
speeches and presentations of medical doctors. There were nine case presentations of
medically clarified divine healing and four special speeches.

prayer. Listening to the case, the attendees were amazed and gave great glory to God.
