Peppa Pig’s Big Splash
This brand new production comes fresh from the huge
successes of the two previous tours, Peppa Pig’s Party and
Peppa Pig’s Treasure Hunt.
The nursery roof is leaking and Peppa and her friends need to
fix it quickly. They set up a fete to raise the money for Mr Bull
to do the repairs. There’s plenty of fun to be had as Peppa,
George, Mummy and Daddy Pig, as well as Danny Dog, Pedro
Pony and Suzy Sheep put up bunting, run stalls and organise
a great day out. There’s also a champion puddle jumping
competition judged by Mr Potato where everyone gets wet
and Peppa needs to find her Golden Boots.
Another all-singing, all-dancing adventure full of songs,
games and muddy puddles is guaranteed for all the family.

Henning Wehn: Einz, Zwei, DIY
After more than a decade in Britain, Henning Wehn the
German Comedy Ambassador has ‘groan’ to like puns –
though he still couldn’t eat a whole one.
As Henning’s assimilation is not yet complete, he hasn’t lost
his sense of Westphalian wonderment at the foibles of British
society.
Why does everybody want to be owned by a house? What’s
wrong with having the Euro? And why hold society and
government responsible for personal underachievement?
You’ve only got yourself to blame for not being born into a
better social class.
Expect an evening-long crash course in personal
accountability and have a right old laugh at the same time!

Carmen
Mid-Wales Opera
This exciting new
production of
a much-loved
opera is directed
by world-famous
opera and theatre
director, Jonathan
Miller, with MWO’s
Artistic Director
Nicholas Cleobury
conducting.
Bizet’s masterpiece
is the tale of
the captivating
temptress –
Carmen, played by
Australian soprano
Helen Sherman
– who seduces the naive Don José and whisks him off on
a journey of love, loss, betrayal and jealousy, ending in
tragedy when, in a passionate rage, Don José kills Carmen
in one of the most dramatic moments in stage history.
This intense and intimate new production – performed
in English in a translation by Rory Bremner – features
classics such as the Habanera and The Toreador Song in
a new orchestration of Bizet’s legendary score by world
renowned opera and music theatre composer Stephen
McNeff, commissioned specially for the Mid-Wales Opera
Chamber Orchestra.

Limehouse Lizzy
Limehouse Lizzy have been officially named one of the
hardest working acts in the UK, alongside some of the
country’s biggest and most popular performers.
They were accredited for their live shows by the
Performing Rights Society in December 2011, and received
their award from PRS Chairman and Ivor Novello awardwinning songwriter (Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Tom Jones)
Guy Fletcher OBE.
Renowned for an action-packed pyrothechnic-fuelled
explosion of a show, Limehouse Lizzy continue to keep the
spirit of Celtic rock icon Philip Lynott and his band Thin Lizzy,
alive, well and dominating stages worldwide. The band have
also added a tribute in their set to the late Gary Moore (exThin Lizzy guitarist and world renowned solo artist) .
The band continues to explore and celebrate the artistic
and musical legacy of the hard-living, hard-rocking, yet
at times surprisingly tender and romantic, artist that was
Philip Lynott.
Expect more of the Celtic influenced tracks like ‘Whisky in
the Jar’ and ‘Black Rose’, amongst the usual razzamatazz
and classic tracks ‘The Boys are Back in Town’, ‘Sarah’ and
many others we’ve come to expect from one of the most
highly-rated acts on the circuit.
