• Jastrebarsko is mentioned for the first time in the document of Count Stjepan in
1249
• On January 12th 1257 Jastrebarsko was awarded the privilege of a “free royal
market” by King Bela IV

(1519 – 1848)
• Castle Erdödy is the oldest building in Jastrebarsko
