“The Paratrooper”
by Rick Terry
Renowned artist Rick Terry has once again captured the
American spirit in his sculpture, “The Paratrooper.” Fifth and
final in the Friends of NRA series honoring the pioneers of the
American history and their firearms,“The Paratrooper”
depicts a hero from the 101st Airborne division.
A lifestyle of freedom and independence is reflected in each
of Terry’s original artworks. Like each sculpture in the Friends
of NRA sponsor series. “The Paratrooper” symbolizes the vigorous patriotism of the American people and the freedoms
sacred to us all.

As Winchester claims,What’s a Cowboy without a model 94? This classic Trails End
Model 94 rifle features all of the goodies including a top tang safety and is chambered in
timeless .44 Remington Magnum with an 11-round magazine capacity and 20 inch barrel. Includes a
satin-finished walnut stock and extended forearm for balance and fast pointability. In addition, Friends of NRA
commissioned Baron Technology to custom design and embellish this already perfect Model 94.The receiver, bands, and barrel have overall
nickel and 24 karat gold plating on border scroll. In addition, Baron added a monogram logo, elk scene and gold sequential custom serialization on
right side. On the left side Baron has 24 karat gold plating on border scroll engraved NRA monogram logo, and deer scene. A classic indeed with all the features any collector or cowboy alike would
ever dream of. Each has the NRA logo and a custom sequential serial number in limited edition

Over the years, the P-Series pistols have
been used extensively by outdoorsmen and
in law enforcement and government applications
worldwide, earning a solid reputation for rugged reliability. Named the 2004 handgun of the year by Guns & Ammo,
the KP345 Sturm Ruger semi auto center fire pistol includes all
of the newest safety features. Features include front and rear
sights, magazine release, shorter trigger pull, black polymer
checkered grip, picatinny accessory rail with a stainless steel slide.
The 4.2 inch barrel has a 6 inch groove with 1:16 inch RH. Pistol

2006 Print of the Year
Standing Guard by Cole Johnson
First time artist of the year, Cole Johnson, returns after
the immense popularity of his 2005 whitetail deer scene,
Imminent Flight. For the 2006 Print of the Year, Johnson
depicts a striking image of a bald eagle guarding his territory. Johnson was fortunate to be able to research and
get all of his reference for Standing Guard locally in an
area close to his home near the western branch of the
Delaware River. Once again, Johnson has managed to convey that action is imminent with the extraordinary detail
of the eagle’s piercing glare and ready stance, while conveying the vastness of the frontier near the Catskill
Mountain region of New York State fading in the background.This black and white piece is designed exclusively
for Friends of NRA and would complement any collection.
Each print is numbered to 1,100 and framed to archival
standards.

Cole Johnson has lived in upstate New York his entire life. He, his wife, Mary,
and their daughter live in a remote area.There, Johnson pursues some of his
favorite activities -- hunting, fishing and spending time in the woods.
Consequently, some of his favorite subjects are species with which he has
become familiar in the field -- white-tailed deer, trout, turkeys, hunting dogs,
birds of prey and waterfowl -- rendered as close-up, detailed portraits.
Although he has worked in oils, Johnson prefers
graphite powder. "The contrast of black and
white appeals to me," he comments.Together
with his first-hand observations in the field,
Johnson takes a number of photographs as reference for details on his subjects
and for the background, foreground and foliage he creates in his drawings.
Although he did not study art in high school, it was then that Johnson discovered his talent for sketching. Encouraged by his inclusion in a local student art
exhibit, he continued to draw and pursued a junior college program in fine art
at the Munson-Williams-Procter Institute of Art in Utica, New York. In 1991,
Johnson completed his B.F.A. with a concentration in painting at the State
University of New York at Buffalo.
In addition to numerous local and regional shows, Johnson continues to broaden his exposure nationally with exhibits such as the Southeastern Wildlife
Exposition in Charleston, South Carolina. He has also been juried into such
prestigious art exhibits as the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum "Birds in
Art" Exhibition in Wausau,Wisconsin, and the National Arts for the Parks
Competition. In 1998, he was inducted into The Society of Animal Artists.

This unique collection of western firearms was hand selected by NRA’s senior
curator of the National Firearms Museum, Doug Wicklund. It features handguns and longarms used by settlers, lawmen and outlaws in the old west.The
cast resin six gun set includes a Sharps Buffalo Rifle; an External Hammer
Double Barrel Side-by-Side Shotgun; a Winchester Model 1873 Rifle; a Colt
M1877 Double Action Revolver; a Colt Single Action Army Revolver; and a
Reid’s knuckle-duster Derringer. This collection has been archivally framed and
labeled in a custom shadow box.These exact miniature replicas were hand
