Security Updates
Issues / Solutions during year 2014 :
1. Access Card Reader Pole at front gate was broken. Quote to fix (Redo) $1,115.
Solution : Moved the Pole to Left side to avoid possible collision with bigger
vehicles. (Same Cost). Had to wait for better weather.
Pending : Move outside Camera (which is not used currently) to focus on
gate. Maintenance Committee is working on it.
2. Outside Gate was broken and Gate ARM was broken.
Solution : Gate was still under warranty. Vendor Came and Fixed.
3. Gate did not operate.
Solution : Manually Opened the gate (with a special Key), and let the traffic
go by. Didn't have any issue since then.
General Body Meeting
Security Updates
General Information / Community Awareness :
• Contact any BOT member if you need Key.
• Notify any BOT member if lost Key. (Cost for New or Replacement Key :
$10)
• Close doors before leaving and make sure properly locked.
• Turn off lights before leaving.
Suggestions from Community :
• One BOT member should be present during Events, just in case gate
doesn't open at all for any reason.
• On a major JSGC event, keep gates open.
• Utilize Number Pad outside gate, in case you forgot key. Temple door still
needs swipe card.
• Always looking for feedbacks. Please contact any BOT member.
