T
he Wells Fargo Dealer Services Salt Lake City
Region Business Center has been involved with
the MDA since Alan Alderman, a former WFDS credit
manager in SLC, was diagnosed with ALS (Lou
Gehrig’s Disease). Alan is one of the longest living
ALS patients in the US and is a part of the organizing
committee. After his diagnosis the SLC RBC wanted
to work to further awareness for our former team
mate, so 14 years ago in 2001 we founded the “Cars
Fore! a Cure” Wells Fargo Dealer Services Charity
tournament.
A
ll proceeds go to the University of Utah Medical
Center’s ALS research center (one of the best
in the country). The majority of the donations come
from our dealer community here in the Utah area. In
the 14 years since its inception we have raised over
$500K in net donations.

ALS Research Center. We are very thankful for
our strong ties to the local dealer community and all
the love and support they have for this charity!
