Angels Hand’s LLC offers reiki, massage
Reiki Energy Healing
Powerful
Energy
Healing
Technique that reduces stress
and increases relaxation.
The word “Reiki” comes from
Japan and means “Universal Life
Energy”. Unlike massage, Reiki is
a powerful energy healing. It treats
the whole body not just the physical
person. This is where profound
changes can take place. Reiki energy healing can alleviate pain and
stress, promotes healing and deep
relaxation. Most people will find
themselves becoming so relaxed
that they fall asleep. Reiki is a wonderful tool to use for relaxation and
can be combined with other modalities. It is commonly used in hospitals for patients receiving
chemotherapy to help with the side
effects such as nausea, pain and
anxiety. Reiki & Massage can be
used concurrently.
Massage
• C . A . P. R . C o n t r a c t i o n
Assisted Pressure Release. Most
feel the difference immediately.
• C.A.P.R. is a technique
offered exclusively by Angel’s
Hands.
• Deep
Tissue
Massage Realign Deeper Layers
of Muscles and Connective
Tissue. Experience a relaxing massage with pain relief.
• This type of massage focuses
on the deeper layers of muscle tissue as well as the connective tissue that surrounds the muscle
fibers. The movements of deep
tissue strokes are slower and
thereby the fibers will relax and
allow the therapist to go deeper
and deeper. Deep tissue massage
can be painful at times, but my
approach is to coax the muscle
into relaxation rather than forcing
it into submission; the later often
leaves a body feeling worst than
better. Some discomfort can be
experienced when muscles form
adhesions which can block circulation, limit range of motion and
cause inflammation. Adhesions
are bands of painful, rigid tissue
found in muscle fibers as well as
tendons and ligaments. Contact

A brief history of Bradley Funeral
Home
After leaving the U.S. Navy,
Mason E. Bradley worked with his
uncle, Elias Mason, at the Mason
Funeral Home until 1954, when
he took over the company it
became Bradley Funeral Home
located in East Camden. In 1968,
Mason's youngest son, Wilson
opened a second location of
Bradley Funeral Home in Marlton.
In 1987, the Camden location was
closed, and over the next decade,
expansion, renovation and more
services were added to the funeral home in Marlton. Wilson, his
daughters, and staff run the business today. Continuing the
Bradley legacy; our family serving
your family since 1921.
Seniors singing for enjoyment
Five years ago, the daughter of
a prominent Rabbi of 56 years,
was stimulated by a video she
saw of a New England choral
group of seniors over 55. The
sound of the group was mesmerizing. How beautiful it would be if
she could start of choral for seniors as a dedication to her Father
who was termed by his congregation as "The Singing Rabbi." The
response was overwhelming!
Hence the development of
Al'schorAL.
Every Monday night, our interfaith choral attracts singers from
all over the area who come together to produce musical sounds that
warms the heart. The atmosphere
is professional and social affording you the opportunity to meet
new friends.. Our choral builds
bridges through music.
We meet every Monday night
from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at
Temple Beth Sholom, 1901
Kresson Road (corner of Cropwell)
in Cherry Hill. We are looking for
new members to join our ranks.
No auditions! No fees!
Al’schoraAl is led by a professional musical director and
accompanists who provides the
music, trains and leads. She is
really good makes each session
fun. If you have the desire and the
passion she will create results
that will amaze you.
The music director blends voices with a repertoire that includes
genres of contemporary, folk, jazz,
pop, gospel and rock.
We are invited to give concerts
throughout the area. We have
been enthusiastically received
wherever we have performed.
We provide transportation
to/from rehearsal for those who
require assistance. No senior will
be left behind.
Our choir is non profit. We welcome donations of any size to
help us perpetuate our mission.

Creating beautiful smiles with dental implants
career in dentistry more than 35
years ago, Dr. Piermatti knew he
wanted to make an impact in the
lives of his patients. It was this passion that led to a specialization in
prosthodontics, a discipline defined
as implant, esthetic and reconstructive dentistry by the American
Dental Association.
In addition to Dr. Piermatti,
Dental Arts of South Jersey also
employs three other prosthodontists, a periodontist, an oral and
maxillofacial surgeon, and two general practice dentists. Dr. Piermatti
says offering a full range of services at Dental Arts allows patients to
receive the highest quality of general and specialized treatment under

If you find yourself in the position

hundreds of complex restorative
cases over the years,” he says.
“I’ve seen all types of cases.”
From the time he began his

By the year 2030, senior citizens
(those age 65 and older) will
account for 20 percent of the
American population, according to
the National Council on Aging.
Advances in medicine have
increased longevity, allowing the
average American in the 20th century to live 30 years longer than the
previous.
Unfortunately,
the
increase in life-span also poses
many health problems for seniors
including bone and muscle deterioration, decrease in physical and
mental exercise, being nutritionally
insufficient in several key nutrients,
as well as lack of social interactions.
The National Institute on Aging
reports that regular exercise and
physical activity can reduce the risk
of developing some diseases and
disabilities that develop as people
grow older. In addition exercise can
also be an effective treatment for
many chronic conditions, as well as
help reduce the chances for weightrelated diseases. When performed
properly and under the correct
supervision, exercise can help
improve cardiovascular fitness,
reduce the frequency of age-related
illness, improve brain function,
decreases depression, and if seniors are encouraged to focus on
exercise, they also increase their
quality of living.
As an advocate for the elderly,
Homewatch CareGivers has created the new “Guide to Senior Health
and Wellness,” to promote healthy
and active lifestyles for seniors and
their caregivers. The guide includes
insight, as well as tips and advice
on nutrition, exercise, social involvement and mental health. “Studies
show that senior citizens benefit
more from exercise and proper
nutrition than any other age group,”
stated Liz Charbonneau, president,
Homewatch CareGivers of Mercer
County. “This guide will help both
seniors and their caregivers to
focus on the important aspects of
healthy living to achieve further
independence and mobility – meaning seniors can be physically fit,
socially involved and living in their
own homes - where they are the
happiest.”
The Guide to Senior Health and
Wellness focuses on all the key elements necessary for healthy senior
living and is available through
Homewatch CareGivers serving
Mercer County at (609) 423-1200.

DVCR leader in clinical research trials
Delaware Valley Clinical Research
is a recognized leader in clinical
research trials since 1986. Our
research team consists of compassionate and experienced research
coordinators, registered nurses and
pulmonary physicians. DVCR conducts research studies for individuals with Respiratory problems and
other breathing related disorders
such as COPD. Clinical research
studies help to determine whether
an investigational medication will
effectively improve ones health.
Qualified participants receive all
study related medical care at no
charge. Included in this care are
physical examinations, laboratory
services, and study medication. In
most cases, compensation for time
and travel is available. Clinical trials
offer the newest medications or
medical devices while providing
patients with individual care, which
allows them to play an active role in
their own health care. These new
medications may help to reduce
symptoms, which allow individuals
to easily cope with their breathing
disorders. Clinical trials are part of
clinical research and are at the
heart of all medical advances.
Clinical trials look at new way to prevent, detect, or treat disease.
People participate in clinical trials
for a variety of reasons but mostly
because they want to help others

could possibly help them with there
disease. Clinical research is
dependent on people like you.
People who volunteer to participate
in clinical research studies help
uncover ways to treat, prevent, diagnose and understand disease.
