Our 2013 Desk Calendar incorrectly lists

21ST , instead of the actual date of

benefitting Christel House and the Big
Brothers and Big Sisters of the Ozarks. The
golf tournament is being held Thursday,
June 13th at Murder Rock Golf Course, in
Branson, Missouri.

Jenny recommends antique shopping
along Highway 197 or 441. In addition to
some great scenery and shops there are
many restaurants along the way. Her
personal favorite is MC’s Kountry Kitchen
and Jenny reminds everyone to get there
early for lunch before they sell out! The
51st annual Mountain Laurel Festival is
May 18th, and is regularly listed in the top
20 events in the Southeast. The festival is
held in downtown Clarkesville.
The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad is
another fun outing for the whole family.
