city centre you will surely want to visit the showrooms of the truly spectacular Schönbrunn Palace, the
summer residence of the Habsburg family. Vienna is the place to be for stunning operas and classical

sights in a short time from the comfort of your coach. The tour will take you to Wenceslas Square, the

This tour will provide you with an overall coverage of the
historical sights in “the city of a hundred spires“. You will
be able to see the most important parts of the city during
a coach ride of about 1.5 hours. This will be followed by a
boat trip on the River Vltava. During your boat trip
tea/coffee or a soft drink will be provided. The boat ride
starts and finishes by Charles Bridge and a walking tour
of Charles Bridge ensues. The tour is accompanied by our

Prague Castle. The tour terminates on the Lesser Town

Visit Karlstejn Castle, built in the 14th century by the Czech king and
Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV. At that time the castle housed the
treasures of the Holy Roman Empire including the imperial
coronation jewels. Due to the location of the castle this tour is more
physically demanding and good walking shoes are recommended. In the winter period when the Karlstejn
Castle is closed, we are able to offer an alternative visit to Cesky Sternberk Castle.

Kutná Hora is a mediaeval mining town founded in the 13th century and
famous for its silver mines. Visit the unique gothic Cathedral of St Barbora with
its precious wall paintings, former Royal Mint which used to produce the
Prague groschen and the unique ossuary. Kutná Hora has preserved its
mediaeval town character to date and is rightfully included on the UNESCO list
of the most important cultural heritage of the Czech Republic.

During this tour to the South Bohemian region you will visit this
beautiful UNESCO-listed mediaeval town. Our walk will take
us past many of the 300-plus well-preserved local historical houses. Lunch will be served in one of these.
The town of Cesky Krumlov was the seat of the powerful Rozmberk family. The tour includes the entrance
fee to Cesky Krumlov chateau and castle, which is the second largest in the Czech Republic after Prague
Castle.

TOUR 4 - VIENNA WOODS – MAYERLING $80

A half-day excursion which shows you the most beautiful sights of the
southern part of Vienna Woods. Passing the Roman City of Baden
which is famous for its thermal springs, we drive through the romantic
valley Helenental to the former Mayerling hunting lodge, today a
commemorative chapel, where Crown Prince Rudolph together with
Baronesse Vetsera died tragically in 1889. In the Cistercian Abbey of
Heiligenkreuz (1133) you visit the medieval cloister which houses the remains of last the Babenberger.
We then pass the Höldrichsmühle and arrive at the Seegrotte. After a boatride on the largest subterranean
lake in Europe you leave the Vienna Woods and return to Vienna finishing at the Opera House.

A full-day excursion, which will show you the beauty of the Wachau.
Through this romantic scenery full of history and legends the Danube winds
his way past charming old villages and steep vineyards. The old castles tell
us about the former importance of this trade- and trafficway, one of them Dürnstein- especially famous, because here King Richard Lionheart was
imprisoned, while waiting for his ransom to arrive from England, raised by
his true minstrel Blondel. During a romantic boat-trip the history comes
alive. The heart of the Wachau is the old vine-merchants town Krems. To
complete this day of highlights you will visit Melk, the "Cradle of Austria" , the magnificent Benedictine
Abbey, a pearl of the Austrian Baroque. Possibility for lunch in the Abbey Restaurant at Melk. The tour
finishes at the Opera House.

We start the evening by driving along the Ringstrasse on our way to the Viennese amusement park, the
Prater. A ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel will give you a marvellous view over the city. Then we drive
through the Heurigen wine tavern village of Grinzing to Neustift am Walde, where members of the 1st
Viennese Heurigenshow will entertain you.A good evening meal including ¼ liter of wine together with
the unique atmosphere at the wine-tavern and you`ll certainly need nothing more to set you back into the
19th century. Price includes ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel, Heurigenshow with dinner and transfer back
to your hotel. When the Giants Ferris Wheel is closed (during the winter season) we invite youto a drive
up the Cobenzl hill and a glass of sparkling wine.

On our way to Mozart´s town of birth you become
acquainted with the beautiful Salzkammergut landscape
with it´s mountains and it´s numerous lakes, where the
Emperor Franz Joseph and his family used to spend their
holidays. Skirting the Lake Fuschl and Lake Wolfgang you
reach Salzburg, where you will have time for lunch. The
afternoon will be dedicated to a stroll through the old city,
showing you the most important sights of the ols Bishop´s
Seat. These are the Cathedral, the Festvall Hall, St.Peter´s
Abbey Church and it´s graveyard (tomb of Mozartßs sister
Nannerl) Of course we will show you Mozart´s birth place
in the Getreidegasse. The Edelweiss-Song from the movie
Sound of Music will come to your memory, while passing
the horse-pond and from the gardens of Mirabell-Palace you will have a marvellous view of the
Hohensalzburg Fortress. The tour ends at your hotel.

A drive to the enchanting countryside of western Hungary

we start the return journey to Vienna. The tour ends at your
hotel.
