Welcome to Bethel Baptist Church

Welcome to Bethel Baptist Church
Come and bring your friends and neighbors, even those from other churches who don't have Sunday evening services and would enjoy lifting up the
name of Jesus in praise and prayer, This will be a wonderful time of remembering and rejoicing in the victory we have because of the death and
resurrection of our Lord Jesus.
Finally, In preparation for Easter, plan to participate in a "pray-at-home" nonstop 72 hour time of prayer from 12 noon on Thursday, April 2, through 12
noon on Easter, April 5. Sign up for one hour prayer slots on the "Prayer
Requests" page of the church website (www.bethelconnect.org), or in the
church foyer. Prayer points will be provided to assist you in praying.
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us…
(1 John 3:16).
GET CONNECTED
Connecting with a local church is the
best way to grow in God, use your gifts
and develop the spiritual fellowship that
God intends for His children. In fact, the
Bible teaches us that each member has
a special role to play in God’s plan for
his local church.
If you are interested in joining Bethel,
please check box “A” on the welcome
card in the pew pocket in front of you.
You can also express your interest by
coming forward during the reflect and
respond time at the end of our service.
About once a quarter, we have a guest
luncheon where you can meet our
pastors and ask questions about Bethel.
Following the lunch is a membership
class where you can finalize your
decision to join Bethel.
How to become a
follower of Christ:

Sunday
Pause to Pray for Tonight's Worship, Praise and Prayer Gathering
Bethel's Prayer Ministry will host a Pre-Easter Evening of Worship, Praise
and Prayer in the Fellowship Center from 5:00-6:15pm tonight. Please note,
this is not only for Bethel people. All are invited to lift up the name of
Jesus in musical worship and praise, and pray together for the lost, for our
community and for area churches as we prepare for Resurrection Sunday.
Because Easter is about reaching lost souls, this is a good time to begin
praying in one accord for those among our families, friends, neighbors and
co-workers who have yet to come to faith in Christ. In light of the
ongoing
atrocities being inflicted on Christians in the Middle East, time will also be
devoted to praying for the persecuted church.

Each Sunday we invite you to reflect upon and respond to the voice of God
in the service.
It is our deep conviction that if you have prepared your heart and earnestly
asked God to speak to you today, He has.
As a result we would ask you to take a moment during this time to solidify
this experience by communicating with us regarding your decision today.
There are welcome cards in the pocket in front of you. Please fill out your
name, and write out your specific response to God as a result of the service
today.
You may prefer to write a prayer or any other form of communication to the
