communities grow their aerospace defense industry. With over 30 years in the aerospace defense market, Stan brings a wealth of knowledge to the
Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance. Stan is also the President and CEO of UAS Colorado, a team of more than 125 aerospace companies, state
agencies, economic development companies, universities, and other non-profits who are collaborating to capture one of the FAA’s six UAS test sites in
Colorado. He also volunteers in his home town of Colorado Springs as co-chair of the Aerospace Defense Team helping to develop businesses and jobs.

Stan’s has held a wide variety of program director positions in the space, aircraft, electronics, and avionics industries. As a former senior officer in the US Air
Force, he ran the Air Force’s electronic warfare and avionics programs from 2008 to 2011, a portfolio of 750 systems and over a million products in the field
with an operating budget in excess of $1 billion a year and 380 employees. These products included sensors, jammers, GPS guidance systems, navigation/
display boxes, and numerous classified programs. Stan is also formerly the Chief of Strategic Analysis for NORAD-NORTHCOM, program director for the Air
Force’s C-130E/H programs, and Executive Officer to Special Operations Command’s Acquisition Executive.

Business Alliance (RBA), helping shape the Aerospace and Defense Industry in Colorado and the Pike’s Peak Region. As a member of the RBA’s Aerospace
Defense Team he is involved in initiatives including Spaceport Colorado, Unattended Aerial Systems (UAS) Test Area development, STEM Education and Cyber

needs. Mr. Griggs is a retired Air Force Colonel with more than 26 years of service. He has extensive knowledge in intercontinental ballistic missile operations
and maintenance, space operations, communications and information technology.

Dr. Richard ‘Doc’ Klodnicki joined the Akima team in 2014 as the Director of Business Development with more than 30 years of experience leading Department of Defense federal and commercial operations and business development efforts. Doc retired from the US Air Force after holding command and staff assignments in Space and Missile Operations and Test & Evaluation. In the commercial market, Doc held leadership and business development positions ranging
from Chief Scientist to Program Director. The portfolio of programs under his management included space, cyberspace, information technology, missile, and
missile defense. His leadership focus is on results-oriented teamwork and development of individuals. Dr. Klodnicki is a certified Program Management Professional (PMP) who received his PhD from the University of Denver, earning the Dissertation of the Year Award, an MS from Lesley University and a BS from the
