Here is a common example of a wood louvered shutter that has become the victim of its own
environment. Our polyurethane shutters are molded as one piece so there is no chance of
them coming apart or splintering.
Only a few years old, this vinyl shutter is
already showing the signs of an inferior
product. Even if the wood simulation
looks adequate when new, it doesn’t
have near the same weather resistance
and overall durability as a polyurethane
product.
This is a wood corbel that has dried out and
split. Our products are dimensionally stable
and weather resistant, providing years of

The Beauty of Polyurethane
The pictures above show some of the approximately 100
different items Hennis Enterprises manufactured for the Venetian
Hotel in Las Vegas. We use a high-density polyurethane molding
process that provides us with an exact duplication of the original
item. So whether the texture is stone, brick, terra cotta, smooth, or
one of our several wood grain textures, you’re sure to get a product
that is in many ways better than the real thing.
Although the look of a polyurethane product is genuine,
its weight is considerably lighter than most materials such as
wood, stone, concrete, fiberglass, GFRG, and other composites.
This allows you to include polyurethane detail products without
re-engineering the support structure. In addition, because our
products are so lightweight, shipping, handling, finishing, and
installation are simplified.
