Beach & Golf Resort
is to help you create
the event of a lifetime.
We provide locations, food, and spirits for rehearsal dinners, luncheons,
brunches, ceremonies and receptions. We can also help you to locate local
vendors; including cakes, flowers, photographers and entertainment.

Home to all of our wedding ceremonies & most of our receptions, the clubhouse
overlooks the Litchfield Country Club golf course, and is located nearby the main
resort. The club’s large lawn provides the perfect location for your outdoor ceremony.
MAXIMUM CAPACITY:
Heavy hors d’Oeuvres: 250 guests
Seated Buffet Dinner: 180 guests
Plated Dinner: 200 guests

Originally a two-screen movie
theater complex, The Tara
Ballroom underwent a major
renovation in January of 2009.
The result is an elegant, more
modern space, perfect for any
catered event. Choose one
location for reception and one
for rehearsal, or any other party
to go along with your weekend!

Tara Patio
Constructed in the beginning of
2010, the Tara Patio offers an
outdoor ceremony venue to
receptions in the ballroom.
Surrounded on three sides by
a brick fence, the patio is also
available for outdoor parties.
Rehearsal, Luncheons and Other Events
Webster’s Restaurant & Deck
Webster’s Restaurant is open daily for breakfast and
dinner. During lunch hours, we host private parties,
making the restaurant a great location for a luncheon.
The Deck is only used as private party space, and is
available anytime during the day. The only event we
do not recommend for the deck would be a wedding
reception, as it is not a truly private space.

Catering
All food & beverage services are provided by Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort,
except wedding cake. We’re happy to provide you with a list of local bakers.

The menu prices listed do not include service fee (20%) or sales tax (currently 8%)
The cost of your menu includes:

Booking Policy & Fees
A deposit of $1000 is required to hold your date. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. The remainder of your estimated bill is due the week of your
function. A credit card is required to secure any charges incurred during your function.
There is a fee of $500 to hold a ceremony on property at either Litchfield Country Club
or on the Tara Patio, which includes our inventory of white folding chairs.
There is no fee for the use of the clubhouse or ballroom!
All food and beverages must be provided
by Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort,
except for wedding cake.
Q. Can we get married on the beach?
A. Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort does not facilitate beach weddings. All guests staying in
accommodations at the resort have access to our beachfront. Georgetown County does not
require any special permits for a beach wedding, so you are welcome to get married in the sand.
Your florist is typically your best ally for a beach wedding. Due to our lack of beach at high tide,
you will need to consult a tide chart and avoid high tide within a two hour range.
Q. Do I need a wedding planner?
A. We do recommend hiring or providing someone to direct your wedding ceremony.
Whether you need someone to be present for the reception is up to you. Our staff will
have a copy of your timeline for the event, and will help you to stay on track.
Q. Can we use to toss for our exit?
A. Bubbles, flower petals or sparklers (with limitations outlined in your event contract)
Q. Where do we go to get our marriage license?
A. Any court house in the state of SC. They have a 24 hour waiting period, and no expiration
date. If you’re planning to go locally, we recommend the Georgetown Co. Courthouse over the
one in Conway, simply because it’s less crowded.
Q. Who will be there the day of my wedding?
A. The Catering Director will guide you through the planning process, and your event will be
managed by our Food & Beverage Director and his staff.
Q. When can I get in to set up?
A. Our staff will handle most of your reception setup. You will meet with the Catering Director
a few days prior to your event to deliver all items and go over setup instructions.
Our staff arrives on average three hours prior to your event, and works very quickly to arrange the
space accordingly. Managing our labor costs allows us to keep your costs down!
