Leadership Development
Program (FLDP)
(Ref. J&J/FLDP)
International Traineeship in Finance
The Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a two-year
program designed specifically to prepare future generations of
business leaders within the Johnson & Johnson finance organization.
The FLDP program successfully develops future leaders for Johnson &
Johnson through rotational assignments at several J&J business units,
in-depth leadership and technical training, and recurring coaching and
feedback. FLDP participants complete two twelve-month rotations, the
first at their hiring company (which they return to after the completion
of the program), and the second one at another J&J operating
company.
These rotational assignments are supplemented by seven weeks of
classroom and e-learning training (in Europe and/or North America)
over the course of the two-year program. Training covers all areas
critical to success at J&J and is delivered through a combination of
resources including FLDP program leadership, key Finance leaders,
J&J Executives, and external consultants.
The Johnson & Johnson finance organizations are structured to
support the competitive advantage of our affiliates around the world
giving FLDP participants the opportunity to experience both teamwork
and in-depth personal achievement in a small-company environment.
At the same time they also experience breadth of exposure,
accomplishment and development opportunities that can only come
from a global business leader with the stature and commitments of
the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.
