Operating Theatre Products
In surgical operations, both medical staff and patients must be reliably protected irrespective of the procedure.
The HARTMANN operating theatre range plays an important part in eliminating routes of infection with safe
disposable products. The result is a complete range of disposable drapes and theatre clothing which exceed
EN13795 standards.
Foliodrape® disposable Surgical Drapes
Foliodrape® disposable surgical drapes provide effective draping solutions for all types of surgery. The Foliodrape®
Comfort, Protect Plus and Protect ranges are available in a choice of standard sets, single packed drapes and
supplementary products.
All drapes are low linting, latex free and have anti-static properties. Draping sets are laid out in the order of use
for quick and easy handling.

Foliodrape® Protect
Foliodrape® Comfort is made of a TRI LAMINATE material ensuring the
complete absorption of fluids, an effective barrier to micro organisms
and a high level of patient comfort.
Foliodrape® Protect is made of a TWO LAYER light material with
excellent draping qualities. Foliodrape® Protect provides an economical
choice combined with high performance.

NEW Foliodrape® Protect and Protect Plus
Setting the highest standards for surgical drapes
The new Protect draping material contains an innovative fabric/film compound. Protect Plus products include
a highly absorbent reinforced layer that absorbs fluids directly and completely.
The innovative properties
of new Protect
Layer 1: Impermeable Polyethylene Barrier
This layer reduces the risk of post operative infection by
preventing the migration of pathogens. Material thickness
and weight provides optimal barrier function and tear
resistance when wet.
Layer 2: Absorbent Polypropylene Layer
A special combination of non-woven materials replicates
the functionality of outdoor/sports clothing for effective
fluid absorption.
Layer 3: Highly Absorbent, Polypropylene
Reinforced Zone (for Protect Plus products)
With its optimal size and position on the drape, the reinforced
zone ensures reliability and easy handling. It adds material
strength to the drape and delivers very high absorption
capacity.

Foliodress® disposable
Surgical Gowns
The Foliodress® Assortment (including Comfort, Protect A and Protect
gowns) provides a comprehensive range of Gowns for low to very
high fluid procedures.
The SMMS non-woven material of Foliodress® offers appropriate
protection and an effective barrier to infection. Softer, lighter
and low linting, Foliodress® SMMS Gowns also have a higher
air-permeability than conventional materials.
The SMMS non-woven material comprises four layers – spunbond,
meltblown, spunbond. The spunbond layers offer stability to the
Gown. The meltblown middle layers act as a reliable barrier
to bacteria, blood and other fluids.
