Make Ethical Decisions (MED)
Introduction to Competition-Part A
By successfully completing this workshop you will
be fully equipped to handle virtually any ethical
situation with confidence and surety. MED is one of
the NCCP’s cornerstone workshops, and leaves
coaches with no doubt as to what to do when the
going gets tough.
Focusing on designing a basic sport program,
teaching effectiveness and teaching basic mental
skills such as goal setting, focus and anxiety
control.

Learn to analyze a challenging situation and
determine if it has moral, legal or ethical
implications. Find out how to apply the NCCP
Ethical Decision-Making Model to properly respond
to each situation in a way that is consistent with the
NCCP Code of Ethics.

seeking applicants for financial assistance.

Celebrating Cambridge’s Outstanding Athletes
Financial assistance is available to athletes who
are:
A. Residents of Cambridge,
B. Registered members of a relevant athletic
group in Cambridge,
C. Any team or athletic group representing the
Cambridge at a Provincial, National, or
International level of competition and who,
at the discretion of the Trustees, are
deserving of financial assistance.
The funds were initiated in response to the
financial needs of many of the athletes that
represent our community in events outside the
region, including provincial, national and
international competitions.

given to any Cambridge athlete or team who:
A. Has won, placed second or third in a
Provincial, National, or International event
sanctioned by a governing body; and/or,
B. Has been named to any Provincial,
Canadian or Olympic team.
There are many outstanding athletes in Cambridge.
We are asking for your assistance to ensure that all
deserving athletes receive Council recognition.
