● IEI provides multiport the serial communication cards to enhance the serial communication functions of your system. A variety of interfaces are provided in
the IEI multiport serial communication card, such as PCI, PCI-104, or PC/104 interface, for easy integration into your existing system.
● Most IEI multiport serial communication cards come in a low profile version or high protection version. The high protection version is designed with higher
ESD and isolated protections for harsh environments, and the low profile version is a cost-effective solution and provides general protections.
● The new IEI multiport serial communication hardware design provides shared IRQ support, higher data transmission speed up to 921.6 Kbps, and larger
FIFO buffer (256 bytes) for transmitter and receiver of each channel. The IEI multiport serial communication card software comprises of diversified OS
drivers and testing utilities.

industrial automation. IEI CAN communication cards offer the connectivity of the Control Area Network (CAN) to your system. With built-in CAN controllers,
the IEI CANprovides bus arbitration and error detection with an automatic transmission repeat function. This drastically reduces the chance of data loss and
ensures system reliability. and are suitable for networking intelligent I/O devices such as sensors or actuators of machines or plants. and on-board optical

• Introductions to RFID
● Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is one member in the family of Automatic Identification and Data Capture ( AIDC ) technologies and is a fast and
reliable means of identifying just about any material object. Primarily, the two main components involved in a Radio Frequency Identification system are the
Transponder (tags that are attached to the object) and the Interrogator (RFID reader). Communication between the RFID reader and tags occurs wirelessly and
generally does not require a line of sight between the devices.An RFID transponder, considered as a next generation barcode, is a miniscule microchip that
is attached to an antenna. They come in a wide variety of sizes, shapes, and forms and can be read through most materials with the exception of conductive
materials like water and metal, but with modifications and positioning even these can be overcome.An RFID reader typically contains a module (transmitter and
receiver), a control unit and a coupling element (antenna). The reader has three main functions: energizing, demodulating and decoding. In addition, readers
can be fitted with an additional interface that converts the radio waves returned from the RFID tag into a form that can then be passed on to another system, like
a computer or any programmable logic controller. Anti-Collision algorithms permit the simultaneous reading of large numbers of tagged objects, while ensuring
that each tag is read only once.

● Because RFID systems generate and radiate electromagnetic waves, they are justifiably classified as radio systems. The function of other radio services must
under no circumstances be disrupted or impaired by the operation of RFID systems. It is particularly important to ensure that RFID systems do not interfere
with nearby radio and television, mobile radio services (police, security services, industry), marine and aeronautical radio services and mobile telephones. The
need to exercise care with regard to other radio services significantly restricts the range of suitable operating frequencies available to an RFID system. For this
reason, it is usually only possible to use frequency ranges that have been reserved specifically for industrial, scientific or medical applications or for short range
devices. And currently widely used spectrums of common RFID systems are classified into three categories, Low Frequency (LF), High Frequency (HF), and
Ultra High Frequency (UHF).

Medical treatment controls
