Bio: Will started training with Olympian Phillip Dutton after graduating high school. In 2002 he was named the
USEA’s Young Rider of the Year and received the Lionel Guerrand-Hermes Trophy. After 2 years training with
Phillip, Will ventured out on his own, and relocated to Southern Pines, North Carolina in 2003. Will went on to
represent the United States as a 2003 Gold winning member of the Pan American Team in Santo Domingo,
Dominican Republic and a reserve member of the 2004 US Olympic Team in Athens, Greece. Will went on to
represent the US as a 2006 team member at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany. In 2008, he
relocated to a facility just outside of Southern Pines and established his impressive 45-acre facility, Gavilan
Farm.
Will is currently a member of the US training squad. He was short-listed for the 2012 London Olympic Games
as well as the 2010 World Equestrian Games. Will currently trains with Robert Costello and takes dressage
lessons with Sandy Phillips and John Zopatti. He has also trained with Olympic Riders Karen O’Connor, David
O’Connor, Captain Mark Phillips and Robert Dover. He attends regular training sessions for the US team.
Riders: Two-day rider/horse cost is $325, paid to The Horse Quarters, and includes 2 – approximately 2 hour
group lessons (flat and jump work both days) with Will and lunch on both days. There will be a max of 4 riders
per group. A $100 deposit is required with clinic entry. Stabling is an additional $30/night also paid to The
Horse Quarters (e.g. $60 Fri-Sun). Riders will be selected based on receipt of complete entry (including current
coggins) with deposit, and levels to be filled. Please complete the rider Entry Form posted below. Each rider
is allowed one free accompanying auditor (groom, spouse, parent), additional individuals are subject to the
auditing fees. Entries close August 3, 2014, deposits will not be refunded after August 10, 2014. There is a 16
rider maximum. ASTM helmets are required at all levels. The rider schedule will be posted on the website the

Auditing: Pre-registration for auditing is $25/day; at the door auditing cost is $30/day, paid to The Horse
Quarters. Age 10 and under are free. Lunch will be provided for auditors. Pre-registrations must be received
