The Aransas Pass Chamber of Commerce
held a Ribbon Cutting for The Scrub Shack,
a new business located at 239-A S. Commercial St. in Aransas Pass. They sell quality scrubs at affordable prices for doctors,
nurses, dentists, and medical staff. They
also offer stethoscopes, blood pressure
wrist cuffs, lanyards, and more. Owner,
Michele Lopez has been in nursing for

Thank you Artist Cove for hosting February’s After
Hours Business Mixer! Those attending enjoyed
productive networking during this fun and relaxed
mixer. They heard what's new at the Artist Cove
and about the happenings of their business associates. All had a fabulous time networking with each
other!
Thank you Kris Spears of Spears and Associates, who facilitated Session 6, “Media & Public Speaking”, and organized the group a tour
of local, Clearchannel Radio (K99, C101, Oldies 93.9, KSAB, KUNO
KKTX 1360), and KRIS/KZTV Stations. She also arranged for the class
to have discussion with both Radio and TV Managers. Participants of
the class were tasked in the roles of media, either newspaper, radio,
or TV, to interview, then prepare the story and then delivered their
presentations to the Class. Vic Medina, CC Disposal, then gave tips
for Public Speaking, Media Interviews, and Making Presentations.
