Longtime Coastline Employee Sherry Rogerson Set to Retire!
Sherry began working at Coastline which was then known as SCL
General Office Employees Federal Credit Union on March 27,
1978 as a teller, back when there were no computers. They
balanced the accounts by hand. She eventually became the head
teller and was in that position until she joined the Centralized
Lending department as the Direct Credit Underwriter in February
2006. Sherry married John Rogerson July 18, 1986 so it’s their
30th anniversary this year. They had twin girls in 1987. She
knows so many members and their families from all her years at
Coastline. She loves all things Jaguars, going to several games
each year, hosting our annual Jaguar kickoff breakfast and having Game Day parties at her home. She
loves her family and friends; loves to go to the movies, fixing up her house, going to concerts and
Hurricanes Grill & Wings.
We are continuing to celebrate 80 years in our branches and
on social media, as well as offering fun facts from the year
Coastline was "born" each month in this newsletter.

November 3 – U.S. presidential election, 1936:
Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt is reelected to a second term in a landslide victory over
RepublicanGovernor of Kansas Alf Landon.
November 12 – In California, the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge opens to traffic.
