Graphic design is the creative planning and execution of visual communication. Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard tool for high end
image creation, editing and manipulation. Adobe Photoshop training provides a thorough foundation in Photoshop for beginners. On
completion, you will be able to use Photoshop to produce impressive professional standard images for use on the web as well as for print.
This course aims to provide you with an overview of various tools, tips and techniques you require to develop your fundamental skills in
digital and web design, and proceeds with a step by step hands-on workshop in the digital editing environment. Moreover, the course
explores various design principles and techniques in typography, print media, branding, and creation of web layouts. The course further
touches on the subject of vector graphics, and provides a preliminary insight into commonly used tools and techniques using Adobe
Illustrator (On-Demand).

About the Instructor
Abdus Salam
(Professional Designer, Consultant)
A designer at heart, Abdus Salam juggles working with Punjab’s IT Board along with his work with leading technology start-ups. His core
expertise lie in designing functional and intuitive user interfaces and web layouts. He currently manages the design aspect of various
undergoing projects run by the Punjab Information Technology Board and is responsible for establishing brand identities of various public
funded projects including Plan 9 (startup incubator) and ITU (Information Technology University). At the same time, he works as a design
consultant with various local and International start-ups where he oversees design elements including brand identities, web presence and
marketing collateral. To-date, he has delivered various graphic and web design trainings at leading institutes including FAST & UET, Lahore.
