Thon Hotel Sandven is beautifully located by the Hardangerfjord, overlooking the Folgefonna Glacier. The hotel was
originally built in 1857, and in 2011 it became a part of the
Thon Hotel chain.102 rooms in total; 31 rooms in the historical
part, 18 apartments, 8 upgraded rooms and 46 standard rooms
in the new part of the hotel. The Hotel has bikes, kayak and
rowing boats for rent during the summer season. Walking
distance to Hardanger Fartøyvernsenter and Steinsdalsfossen.

Gamlastovo at Øvre-Aksnes is a fully restored old traditional
cottage from the 1720’s. Wonderful view of the fjord.
The cottage has a modern standard and has a fully equipped

loft was built in 2003 and is fully equipped with a kitchen
including dichwashing machine, bathroom/WC with a washing
machine, The garage loft is suitable for 2(3) persons. Satelite

Hardanger Fjordhytter is beautifully situated in a fruit garden
on the northern side of the Hardangerfjord. 4 cabins with two
separate sleeping rooms and a sleeping area upstairs with 2
mattresses. One bedroom is with a double bed and one with
3 single beds. 1 cabin with one sleeping room with 2 single
beds. Each cabin has its own rowing boat included in the
price. A motor can be hired. Nice beach by the fjord.

Hjartnes Sjøhus is beautifully situated by the Hardangerfjord,
a 10 minutes drive from Tørvikbygd in Kvam municipality.
From Bergen: 1h 30 min drive. The holiday house is fully
equipped and has three bedrooms sleeping 6 persons. There
is also a jacuzzi and a sauna. Panoramic view of the fjord and
the surrounding mountains. Large private outdoor area with
a quay. Boat with engine is included. Good fishing options in
the fjord.

Hardanger Feriesenter is beautifully situated on the
Hardangerfjord between Norheimsund and Øystese in Kvam
municipality. Here you will find cabins, a campsite and boats
for rent. There are two different types of cabins: Nesvika
Energihus (3 houses) and Neshagen Hyttegrend (7 cabins).
Nesvika Energihus: Each house (70 square meters) has 3
bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/living room and a winter garden.
Capacity: 6 persons. Neshagen Hyttegrend: Each cabin (40
square meters, 52-62 including terrace) has 2 bedrooms,
bathroom, kitchen/living room with a fireplace. Capasity: 5
persons. 30 places for caravans/campers, 24 with electric
outlet. Facilities with kitchen, bathrooms, showers, washing
machine and dryer, drain for waste water and car wash
station. The area is family friendly with a playground and a
beach.
Guest harbour: Accomodates 4 boats, maximum size is 14
feet. Electric outlets available.
