October 2009 - BRHA Newsletter
Fourth Quarter 2009
OCTOBER 17TH!!!!! Annual Beaumont Ridge Homeowners Association Meeting. This is a very important
meeting-we will be discussing the 2010 budget and your input is important to us. Please try to attend. It will be held at
4:30 at the Brasfield’s house (Adults only please) At around 5:30 we will have a Chili/Bonfire party (for the
families!) If you can make a pot of chili, some cornbread, or dessert item please let Tammie know. BYOB (there will
be coolers with ice to drop beverages in) There will be glow sticks and s’more makings for the kids.
Movie Night at the Adairs!
Mailboxes: As many of us have noticed, the steel mailboxes included with the specified posts have not held up well to
the salt and snow next to the roads. We have looked into several alternatives that would meet the covenants of our
neighborhood, but at this point the best alternative seems to be replacing the mailbox only (the posts seem fine) at a
cost of about $90.
If you need to order one, please contact Eric Elfner ([email protected].) by Oct 19. If we have a fair number of
people interested, Eric will try to arrange a 'group buy' at a discount. Otherwise you can contact Craig Robles at City
Lights directly at 262-781-9048.
Craig is also looking into an aluminum alternative that would look the same, but be more resistant to rust.
Unfortunately it would cost more, in the range of $160-170 each. He is awaiting a sample to make sure it fits on the
existing posts and mounting hardware.
One final note about mailboxes: Last year the village's snow plows took out at least one of them. We spoke to the
village administrator about this and he told us their policy was to pay for replacement, but only at the level of a
Menards-type mailbox ($50 or so) not the expensive ones all the new subdivisions have specified.

Are you wondering about the new neighbors?
Brian and Stacie Thimmesch are moving into their home on N60 W27094 Trappers Run the first week of October. They
have lived in Waukesha for 6 years. They have a 3 ½ year old daughter (Taylor) and an 18 month old son (Brady). Brian
and Stacie love going on outings with their children such as the zoo and to Brewer’s games. Welcome Thimmesch’s!
We have another new neighbor! Griffin Marshall Radtke was born May 18 to Melissa and Dustin Radtke. Congrats!!!
Our annual Summer Party was a blast. A HUGE thank you to Erin Blakney and Tiffany Becker for organizing! Fun was
had by all ages. If anyone ended up with an extra spatula for the grill contact Lisa Rader (she has an extra one).
More pictures of the picnic will be on the website soon!
Another thank you goes to Carrie Price for organizing the Subdivision Garage Sale. Finally, a reason to clean out those
closets!
Don't forget that we have a web page www.beaumontridge.com. You can find back issues of newsletters, the
neighborhood covenants and other information about the neighborhood there. If you have any good pictures from the
block party or other events, please send them to [email protected]. We are careful not to include names if
people are in the pictures since that site is open to the world.
