Hello fellow Z:
Here is the March 2016 newsletter. Hope
you all had a great Valentines Day with
your love ones . We were busy as a Club.
The February General Meeting was well
attended and we enjoy a great talk by Roger Daniels and Roberta from Roger Daniels Break and Alignment . They are the
very best when it come to your breaks and
alignment needs.
Clif Yausi participated in the Mr. K Memorial run to Arizona and provided us
with a great write up. I got some awesome
photos courtesy of our good friend John
Moran from Empire Z.
Bernard Vinluan was representing us at the
“Carmeats”6 and Race Legal racing his
240Z with L28ET swap.
It was a great month for The Hulk Machine. It participated in the Hot Import
Night and got a second place in the Nissan
category. Then at the “Carmeat” 6 and
Race Legal won a trophy for “Instagram
Famous” and another for “Cool Car bro”.
The Anza Borrego Run was organized by
Clif and we had a great turn out with the
participation of our friends from ZCCIV.
The ZCCIV came out to play with some
awesome cars. We couldn't asked for a
better weather day. The drive was sunny
and cool, we enjoyed a visit to the Anza
Borrego Visitor Center were we learned
about the past and present of that beautiful
ecosystem. We had our picnic at the
Christmas Park and then we explored the
awesome metal sculpture through out the
desert land scape. Marisela and I spent the
night in Anza Borrego and enjoyed the
local food , desert sunset and star filled
sky.
This month we have the Empire Z Avocado Run , details are in the newsletter.
Z’ee you at the meeting

PRESIDENT’S MEMBERSHIP LETTER
Hello ZCSD Members. A short note to thank you all for
being part of the most active and largest Z car club in
SoCal. March is the month in witch we renew our club
membership. Hope you enjoyed 2015, the meetings and
guest speakers, the monthly runs and activities.
As part of your benefits from your membership you belong to a network of sponsors that provide you with
great service and discount for all your Z car needs : Motorsports, Roger Daniels, The Dyno Shop, Bumper Doc,
San Diego Wheels and tires, Aero Auto Repair, C&D Auto
Care, Courtesy Nissan, Pacific Nissan, Mossy Nissan,
Summit Transmissions to mention a few.
We are looking forward to another great year of meetings, speakers, and drives. The ZCSD has become the
most active Z Car Club in California, and may be in the
Western States.
It is that time of year where we need to pay our dues.
The reason for the dues is to pay for the expense of running the club which include the following: 1) Paying for
our membership in the National Z Club of America, 2)
club insurance for the events that we organize , 3) part
of your cost for the Holiday Party in December is paid by
the Club. The dues remain the same $36 for the year,
which is just $3 per month. This is the best deal in town.
Don’t miss out. Fill out the renewal form and bring it to
the next meeting.

Anza Borrego
Great turn out for the ZCSD Anza Borrego Run with the company of our friends from ZCCIV.
Z cars at the Anza Borrego Run
We had all models of Z car present at the Anza Borrego ( and one “Veloster turbo” AKA emergency response vehicle)
We did a brief stop at Dudley's bakery in Santa Ysabel to buy sandwiches and refreshment before our picnic in Anza Borrego
Our Z car look as much as home in the desert as the awesome metal sculptures
We finally found some taller than Chuck, not sure if Carlton was dancing or being attacked but the dinosaur.
Don Austin was smart enough to bring his Toyota truck to deal with the rugged terrain
We found a fresh and sweet fruit oasis , delicious oranges and grape fruits.
Marisela and I decided to spend the night in Anza Borrego and enjoy the hospitality and food of a small town.
The weather was great plenty of warm sun and cool breeze . The trees shade at the Christmas Park was perfect for the picnic. Looks like Michael had a little too much to eat so a nap
was in order.
A quick stop at the visitors center where we encounter some fearsome stuff animals
