Every year, over 150,000 students from middle school to college
participate in the National Latin exam. Founded by the American
Classical League at Georgetown University in 1976, the National
Latin exam is given all over North America, as well as in
countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. On March 14, twenty one of Ms. Glatter's students participated
in this exam testing their knowledge of Latin grammar,
comprehension, mythology, literature, history, geography, and
Roman life. In past years students have garnered ribbons and
certificates for their results on the Introduction to Latin and Latin I
exams; this year they are hoping to win a silver or gold medal!

The Grammy awardwinning Pacific Boychoir Academy
presents The Sound of Vienna, a concert of choral music from
the Classical era, sung with the unique and rich sound of men
and boys, accompanied by orchestra. Works typically performed
by the likes of the Vienna Philharmonic and Vienna Boys Choir
will be presented in rare form, here in the United States. Haydn's
Missa Sancti Bernardi von Offida (Heiligmesse) and Mozart's Te
Deum will be sung in their entirety. Also enjoy Beethoven's
Choral Fantasy, and Schubert's Ständchen for alto solo and
fourpart men's voices.
Fresh from the January 31 collaboration at the Fox Theater, The
Magik*Magik Orchestra joins PBA to show off their classical
training. Pianist Miles Graber accompanies the choir for some
Beethoven, Schubert, and Strauß.
