Dear Colleague,
Dear Colleague,
Approximately 36 years ago, there was a little Podiatry Gathering known
as “the Bandera meeting”. It was held each Spring and was started by
Dr. Louis Bogy to provide a much needed gathering for networking for
the podiatry profession in a “rustic” atmosphere.

Many doctors had asked about bringing this famous gathering back. It
is amazing what podiatry dilemmas can be solved around the campfire
at a dude ranch….! The Texas Podiatric Medical Foundation brought it
back in 2011 and we had a great meeting with 50 doctors and residents
sharing and collaborating.

The 2013 Bandera Gathering will be April 12-14, 2013 and will begin
Friday afternoon per your request for less time out of office. With the
help of GTEF of Houston, directed by Dr. Sam Mendicino, providing
CME credits, we will provide 12 CME hours at the original Mayan Ranch
in Bandera. The event will be a fundraiser for the Texas residency
programs and profits are divided amongst the participating programs,
as well as TPMF underwriting residents to attend. DON’T MISS THIS
UNIQUE MEETING!
