Xscape 2-5 brings early childhood education to the playground!
Age- Appropriate Play
Active outdoor play is an important
component in early childhood
development, so planning an
outdoor space that maximizes
developmental skill building and
memorable activities in essential.
Early childhood experts advise that
preschoolers are not just miniature
versions of their older peers.
They have specific developmental
needs, as well as different skills,
spatial awareness, judgement, and
interactive behaviors. An appropriate
play space offers young children the
opportunity to build and test physical
strength and coordination, stimulate
imagination, learn to play with peers,
and discover multi-sensory activities.
Enter Xscape 2-5! Specifically
designed for pre-school children
ages 2 through 5, it promotes a
wide spectrum of developmental
skills for children of all abilities,
in all the ways that experts,
researchers and early childhood
professionals know are important.
There are more than 50 energizing
activities to choose from. Best
of all, there are no preset design
limitations; build an Xscape
system, link to PowerScape or
PrimeTime, or create individual
freestanding environments.
