Our members, once again, had the treat or fortune to play
the golf course in the same conditions and the same format
as the players did in the actual Straight Down golf
Low Net Winners with a 68
tournament. One hundred and sixteen members who played
were also treated with cold blustery conditions making the
course treacherous. The field was separated into two flights;
players playing from the blue tees and players teeing it up
from the whites. Women in the field played the black tees.
Mike Wozniak & Andy Eppright shot the low gross round to
win the overall event with a superb 71. Jon Hastings & John
Mitchell were low net in the blue flight with a great score of
68. Bob Brown & Ed Kurtz fired a smooth 79 to win low gross
in the white flight and Walt Rehm & Bill Travis shot the low
net round of 66 to win first net. Lynette Branch & Barb
Agee also shot 66 to finish second due to a card off. Michael Wozniak (pictured)
Following the round, the players were treated to an
&
outstanding hors d’ oeuvres feast. Thanks to all the players
Andy Eppright
for a terrific turnout and a great day!

1933 ~ 2015
Dear Members,
year, but from our members engaging at a
higher level which in turn strengthens the
relationship between members and the Club.
On behalf of our entire staff, I thank you
for your support in 2015 and look forward to
a fantastic 2016 at SLOCC.
I hope you all get to spend quality time
with family and friends this Holiday Season
and that it is a joyous time. My best wishes for
a Merry Christmas and a wonderful Holiday
Season!
As the Holiday Season is
upon us, it can only mean
one thing; the end of the
year is fast approaching. I
always try to take a little
time to reflect back on the year and see how
we measured up to our goals.
One of my personal goals for the last 3
years has been to achieve a wait list for golf
memberships. Even though our golf
membership has been full for several years,
Sincerely,
we did not have a wait list until this past
spring. We have maintained a wait list since
then and will begin 2016 with one. The golf Mike Stanton
wait list joins the ones we already have for General Manager/ COO
tennis and fitness. Data from our industry
tells us that only 2% of Clubs have a wait list
in all their major categories. I feel fortunate
that we are in this position and we will stay
diligent in our efforts to provide a wonderful
member experience, so we can remain in this
position.
Golf Wait List
One of the other goals we had as a staff,
was to drive participation in our non"golf
activities. This was certainly achieved,
especially in fitness and tennis where we
have seen a 25% increase in the use of
Jr. Executive Golf
services in these areas. Member dining
continues to grow as well with a 12%
increase this year. This increased usage is not
Tennis Wait List
from membership growth which was 2% this

Fun was had by all who dressed to impress at this years party!
A special THANK YOU to Donna Jeberjahn who made a gender reveal
cake for our very own Andrea Fletcher who is expecting her second baby
boy! Trey, (Andrea’s Husband), kept the gender secret for a
little while so we were able to surprise her! We wish the
Fletcher Family an easy delivery, healthy baby and restful
nights to come!
Mark your calendars…
