Join us as we are led in worship by special guest
artist, 5 time Dove Award winning, CCM Artist, Leigh
Cappollino of “Point of Grace”. As a member of “Point
of Grace”, Cappollino has recorded several albums,
been on several tours, and written three books. She
will be joined by her husband and daughter and
performing in all three worship services.

2016 DEACON
NOMINATIONS
What an exciting time as we are in the midst of Deacon
Nominations. Many have asked the question, what does it
take to be a Deacon? Deacon comes from the greek word
“Deakoneo", which means Servant Leader. A Deacon is a
representative of the church body and shows leadership in
several areas, such as: consistency in attendance and
service, respect among their peers, faithful in their
stewardship and giving, etc… Once a candidate is
nominated, the Deacon Nominating Committee, along with
the staff, will pray over each name to lovingly ensure that
each candidate meets the above mentioned criteria. The
candidates that meet that criteria will then participate in an
affirming interview with leadership before the selection
process is complete. If you would like to nominate someone
who represents the above mentioned criteria, please submit
that name in writing to Danay Adams (Deacon Chairman) at
the Church Office or [email protected]. Deadline for name
submission is Wednesday, July 20th.
