he first Silicon Valley Awards
2012 will be held on November 18 at the Marriott Fremont Silicon Valley.
The Awards will honor
and recognize people
and organizations
in the following
categories: business
entrepreneurship,
science and technology,
non-profits, media and
films (short films) and
writers/book authors.
“Silicon Valley Awards 2012
‘Making a Difference’ is all about
the people who live in Silicon Valley
and who make a difference in one
way or another to help the Valley
grow and become a better and richer
place, culturally and professionally.
The objective is to recognize these
individuals, companies, non-profits

Silicon Valley culture, its philosophy;

the organizer, Sheetal Ohri.
The Silicon Valley Awards 2012
will be held at the Marriott Fremont
Silicon Valley in Fremont, CA on
November 18, 2012 from 5:30pm11:30pm.
The chief guests at the event
are Hon. N. Parthasarathi, Consul
General of India, San Francisco and
Senator Ellen Corbett, State Majority Leader.
The Guest Speaker is Ro
Khanna. For two years Ro, was
working for the Obama Administration in Washington D.C. He served
as the Deputy Assistant Secretary
at Commerce and the event’s Keynote Speaker is Gurbaksh Chahal,
Gurbaksh is an Entrepreneur, he
loves innovation & building amazing companies. Founder of ClickAgent, BlueLithium, RadiumOne &
BeProud Foundation and has been
featured in Oprah Winfrey.
The emcee Patti Tripathi of
TriPath Media is the first Indian
American to anchor CNN HLN.
The judges panel includes Dr.
Raj Salwan, Chairman Fremont
Chamber of Commerce and Head,
Democratic Party in Fremont, Mr.

The Finale of the event is with
a one of its kind Bollywood theatrical Production “Laila Majnu” - A
Romance saga Choreographed by
Uma Dhanapal of Kriyaa Dance
Academy and Produced and directed by Organizer Sheetal Ohri.
The décor of SVA2012 is being
done by Ajooba Events.
