Billy Graham Library
Another key attraction awaits: The Billy Graham Library. Come journey through a
lushly landscaped retreat and travel through the extraordinary history of one of the
20th century’s most influential voices. In the
fall of 1934, a farm boy from North Carolina
made a decision that would impact the lives
of many across the globe for years to come.
Billy Graham devoted his life to the Gospel
and counseled presidents, befriended dignitaries, and preached God’s love to over 210
million people on six continents. HistoriBilly Graham Memorabilia

sure to stroll through the prayer garden, relax over lunch in the Graham Brothers

Lake Wylie
Did you know that Carowinds is the only
theme park located in two states? It’s the
Carolinas’ premier family entertainment
destination and a prized possession of
both South Carolina and North Carolina.
Another shared gem between the Carolinas is the picturesque Lake Wylie. The
oldest lake on the Catawba River, this
water wonder was first created in 1904
by a dam near Fort Mill, SC. With 325
miles of shoreline, Lake Wylie is perfect
for the boater, the fisherman, the skier
and the sailor.

Like the Culture & Heritage Museums, Carowinds is also in the Olde English District
– a seven-county region in South Carolina bursting with living history, wild life and
family entertainment. The District’s name refers to the region’s early settlement by
the English in the mid-1770s. Bisected by I-77, the District is located between Charlotte, North Carolina and Columbia, South Carolina. Wherever your destination, discover the treasures of the Olde English District on your way. It’s dotted with picturesque areas like Winnsboro, with the longest continuously running town clock in
