Sailing around Greece 7 DAYS TRIP CYCLADES Introduction Cyclades island complex The Cyclades is the most famous and popular island complex in Greece. Located in the beautiful blue waters of the Aegean sea it is easy to reach, visit and explore. All of the islands of this complex provide amazing destinations for tourists of all styles and preferences. They are ideal for romantic couples, for friends traveling in small or large groups, and for families. While Santorini and Mykonos are the most famous ones and constitute top destinations, there are some other well known ones as well, such Paros, Naxos and Ios. The remaining islands of the complex are not as well known worldwide but they do not lack in beauty at the least. This group of islands is particularly famous for the amazing crystal clear waters and the superb golden beaches, which can be cosmopolitan with lively bars and music all day long, or they can be more secluded for the absolute relaxation. Short sail to Mykonos south beaches of Ornos or Psarou and overnight anchor. Dinner onboard or at one of the excellent restaurants and bars on the beach. Day 2: Mykonos South beach – Naoussa Paros 22 nm Swimming and continuation to the port of Naoussa, the most cosmopolitan village of Paros and the best nightlife spot. Overnight. Day 3: Naoussa of Paros - Ios 27 nm Sailing south between the islands of Paros and Naxos enjoying the view of coastline. Afternoon arrival at Ios port and time for exploring the beautiful Chora with the typical architecture and vibrant nightlife. Day 4: Ios - Santorini 27nm Sailing south and swimming stop at the magnificent beaches of South Ios. Arrival at famous Santorini. Visit to the village of Fira, built along a steep cliff where the view is a lifetime experience. Day 5: Santorini - Schinoussa 33 nm Sail northbound enjoying a last view of the caldera. Heading to Schinoussa island, one of the few remaining tiny paradises. Mooring at the protected port of Mirsini. The main village Chora is uphill but it is very well worth the walk up or the ride if you ask a bypassing car to take you along. Dinner either at the port or at the village. Day 6: Schinoussa – Naxos 19 nm Morning swim and upwind sailing towards Naxos island. Safe anchorage at the town of Naxos which is full of life and traditional color. Great food with local products, in the seashore taverns. Day 7: Naxos - Mykonos 23 nm Sailing towards Mykonos with a swim break at the calm south bay of Rhenia island. It belongs to the complex of Small Cyclades, along with Koufonissia, Donoussa and Iraklia.
