Desert Night Safari
The most popular markets in Jaisalmer is
known for selling handicrafts, rugs,
clothing, blankets, antiques shawls,
jewelry, puppets, carpets and the list goes
on.
It is known as Golden Fort of Rajasthan
and was constructed by Raja Jaisal, Rajput
ruler in the year 1156 AD. The golden and
yellow mixed sandstone magical fort is also
ranked amongst the largest forts in the
world.
A night safari in the deserts of Jaisalmer is
an unbelievable and the most amazing
experience of a lifetime. You could also

Bada Bagh
Sunset at Vyas Chatri
The name Bada Bagh means 'Huge
Garden'. Maharawal Jait Singh's period saw
its construction, which was in the
beginning of 16th century. You can see
beautiful monuments around the garden as
you walk by on a sunny day.
Watch the sunset in the midst of the sand
dunes and exhibits the typical Rajasthani
style of architecture of Vyas Chatri.
Manak Chowk
This market is famous for its sandstone
coloured forts, palaces, Jain temples and
well-constructed streets. Manak Chowk
also holds a lot of history and cultural
importance as many Havelis or Fortresses
can be found there.

Khadi Gramyodyog Bhawan
At Khadi Gramyodyog Bhawan you can pick

Kuldhara Abandoned Village
The Abandoned Village is about 15 Km,
west of Jaisalmer. The village was
established in 1291 by the Paliwal
Brahmins and is also known as a cursed
village. While your walk through the village
will be like wandering onto the sets of a
ghost movie.

Salim Singh-ki Haveli
Camel Riding
Salim Singh-ki-Haveli was built by Salim
Singh, who was the formidable prime
minister of Jaisalmer. It is an 18th Century
Haveli, which has beautifully arched roof
that has a superb carved brackets in the
form of peacocks.
One of the best things you could do and
not miss is to enjoy the camel hump rides
through the beautiful desert. The camel
rides are pretty easily available and
affordable as well.
Patwon Ki Haveli
This massive five-storied construction has
five intricately decorated huge suites and
is made of yellow sand stone. The
architecture of the monuments adds value
to the history and culture of the city. One
of its haveli's is converted into a museum.
