FIRST FAMILY
NEWS
MARCH
2015
Welcome Tim Moak
AS MINISTER OF MUSIC,
FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH
Tim graduated from Mississippi
College in 1993 with a Bachelor's
Degree in Church Music.
He then went on to complete a
Master's Degree in Conducting,
also from MC. Tim has served Mt.
Vernon Baptist Church, Columbus, First Baptist Richland, and Broadmoor Baptist. He is coming to
FBC Clinton from Petal-Harvey Baptist Church.
Tim is married to Mary Greenlee Moak, also a graduate of Mississippi
College with a degree in vocal performance. She is currently working
on a Master's Degree in Education Administration at the University of
Mississippi and is set to graduate in June.
Tim and Mary have two children. Morgan is 17 years old and a junior
at Petal High School, where she is a member of the PHS show choir.
Mason is 14 years old, enjoys all things musical, and plays several
instruments. Both are active in their youth group, participating in
mission trips, youth praise, and Bible study.
Tim will begin his duties at the church on Sunday, March 8. We are
excited to welcome the Moaks to our church family, and look forward
to what God has planned for the future of First Baptist Church Clinton.
You are encouraged to send a note of encouragement to them as
they make this significant ministry transition. Their mailing address is
37 Candelabra Street, Petal, MS 39465. Be in prayer for the Moak
family in the coming weeks, and help them experience a warm First
Baptist welcome.
A Welcome Reception is scheduled for Sunday, March 15, 2 – 4 p.m., in
the Fellowship Hall.

SENIOR ADULTS
FOREVER YOUNG
Monday, March 9 • Noon • Fellowship Hall
Come and join us for a time of good food, fun, and fellowship.
Our special guest will be Allen Harris, tenor. Bring a favorite
dish to share and a friend.
You’ve heard it said, “Life
is like a coin. You can
spend it however you
want, but you only can
spend it once.” Psalm 90
tells us that we have a
limited time on earth to
accomplish God’s plan for
our lives. We know time
has to be handled
carefully, but search the
Internet for “time
management,” and you’ll
find hundreds of sites full of tips and techniques to better manage
your life. With so many options, where do you start?. . . God’s Word.
Scripture shows us how we should wisely invest our most valuable
asset, the minutes we spend on earth.
So teach us to number our days, that we may present to You a heart
of wisdom. - Psalm 90:12
