Driving Directions
Amelia Island is located at Florida’s northeastern shore, just 15 miles east of Interstate 95, and
is a short, 25 minute drive from Jacksonville International Airport.

Driving from the Jacksonville International Airport (25 minutes)- From
Jacksonville International Airport take I-95 North, travel approximately 7 miles to exit 373
(old exit 129), Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach/Callahan Exit. Turn right onto A1A East.
Travel east on A1A 9.6 miles to the Thomas J. Shave Bridge. Cross the Intracoastal
Waterway and travel three-quarters of a mile to the first traffic light. Turn right at the
light onto Amelia Island Parkway. Travel 2.5 miles to fork in the road. Veer left at fork
and travel 1.5 miles to traffic light. Cross through the intersection traveling three-tenths
of a mile. The resort is on the left.

5 Things to Know About Conference ‘09

2009 Trade Expo QUIZ QUEST
There is a new method for door prize giveaways at this year’s Trade Expo! To
add a little excitement as well as enhance your knowledge about the products
and services available to you from our valued exhibitors, we are introducing the
Trade Expo QUIZ QUEST!
At each participating exhibit booth, there will be a plastic sign holder with 3
questions. There will also be slips of paper provided for your answers. Winners
for each door prize will be chosen from among the correct answers submitted.
Prize packs will be of a minimum $50 value at each booth...so you do not want
to miss out on any opportunity to play! Have fun!

SHOPPING SHUTTLE
A complimentary shopping shuttle will make round trips between the hours of
10am and 3pm on Thursday, July 23. The shuttle will travel to the Fernandina
shopping area and will pick up outside the main entrance of the hotel. Thanks to

We are featuring a new session at this year’s conference called Wine ‘n Wisdom.
This interactive session features seasoned industry professionals who will answer
questions and share their experience and knowledge with us! This forum will take
place immediately before the Cocktail reception on Friday evening.

Our Ritz Kids program offers a variety of supervised physical and creative activities

BEECH STREET GRILL

Golf Courses of Amelia
The Golf Club of Amelia Island
The Golf Club of Amelia Island is adjacent to The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island resort. It is an 18 hole PGA championship, par 72 course, designed by golf professionals Mark McCumber and Gene Littler. The Golf Club of Amelia
Island is open to members and resort guests. Green fees are $130 for 18 holes and $100 for 9 holes. Proper
golf attire is required, shirts must have collars and jeans are not permitted. Phone: (904) 277-8015.

Fernandina Beach Golf Club
The Fernandina Beach Golf Club Course is a local favorite located two miles away from The Ritz Carlton. It is a
27 hole, par 35/37/36 course, designed by Ed Matteson and Tommy Birdsong. Fernandina Beach Golf Club is a
public course. Green fees are $49.50 for 18 holes on weekdays and $55 on weekends and holidays. There is also
a twilight rate of $27.75 that begins at 12:30pm. The Fernandina Beach Golf Club Course requires proper golf
attire. Shirts must have collars. Jeans and cut off shorts are not permitted. Phone: (904) 277-7370.
Amelia Island Plantation
Ocean Links-The Amelia Island Plantation Ocean Links Course is an 18 hole, par 70 course, designed by Pete Dye
and Bobby Weed. The Amelia Island Plantation Ocean Links Course is open to members and resort guests (3
days in advance for non-members). Tee times on this course are subject to course availability. Green fees are
$150 for 18 holes and $902 for 9 holes. Proper golf attire is required. Phone: (904) 277-5907.
Long Point- The Amelia Island Plantation Long Point Course is an 18 hole, par 72 course,
designed by Tom Fazio. This course is open to member and resort guests (1 day in advance for non-members).
Green fees are $175 for 18 holes, and $105 for 9 holes. Collared shirts are required and jeans and cut off shorts

Oak Marsh- The Amelia Island Plantation Oak Marsh Course is an 18 hole, par 70 course,
designed by Pete Dye and Bobby Weed. The Amelia Island Plantation Oak Marsh course is open to members

The Amelia River Golf Club
The Amelia River Golf Club (formerly the Royal Amelia Golf Links Course) overlooks the Amelia River and is

course is semi-private. Please call for tee times and green fees. Collared shirts are required and jeans and cut
