Stop by the school garden at 3:15pm to find out what’s been going on and
lend a hand! Here’s an update from Mr. Trey:
We hope to expand our garden from one to two plots in the second half of the
year. The third graders planted cucumbers at the beginning of the year and are
now trying their hands at radishes. The kindergarteners are excitedly tending to
a few chive and leaf green plants as well as being vigilant weed pullers. During
healthy week we’ll plant fresh seedlings and help clean up the area around the
garden.
This is what will be happening on campus throughout the week…

group will win a pizza party. We will announce this shortly once the
laps have been tallied.

There will be a small prize for the child who ran the most individual

With Cole M.
What is your background and heritage?
I am a citizen of Canada with German and Scottish roots.
Which countries have you lived in?
I have only lived in Cayman and Canada.
How long have you been living in the Cayman Islands?
I have been living in the Cayman Islands for roughly 11
years.
How many years have you been at CIS?
I have been at CIS for 6 years now.
Describe yourself At least a few of your best and worst personality traits)
I am indecisive, I sometimes lack motivation to do things, recovering from severe disorganization, a procrastinator. However on the flipside I am cheerful, easy to please, and creative.
What is your taste in music? Favorite song of all time, favorite at the moment?
I’ll listen to anything except country. But my favorite of all time is One by the Swedish House Mafia because
of the euphoric state it puts me into.
Are you a collector of anything? What? Why?
I collect hotel room keys because it reminds of all the places I’ve been for both swimming and recreation.
Some of my favorites are from the Knutsford Court Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica.
What is the greatest crisis we face as a world? Why?
The focus on helping yourself rather than others. This greatly slows the development of humanity due to no
one exploring beyond their own comfort zone.
What is your favorite movie and why?
My favorite movie is Apocalypse Now because it is beautifully directed by Francis Ford Coppola and is also
based on my favorite book, Heart of Darkness, which my class read in English.
You're about to walk the green mile, what do you have as your last meal?
A jar of Nutella because I am anaphylactic to tree nuts and supposedly it is the best thing on this Earth.
