CSC India
RAJENDRA B VATTIKUTI
As the Group President, Mr. Vattikuti spearheads CSC India,
which has employee strength of approximately 19,000
based in India and other geographies.
Responsible for providing global strategic directions, Mr.
Vattikuti brings dynamic leadership and a rich experience
of more than two decades from his earlier roles as the
founder, President and CEO of Covansys.
Prior to founding Covansys, Mr. Vattikuti was director of
M.I.S. for Yurika Foods Corporation from 1983 to 1985.
Before that, from 1977 to 1983, Mr. Vattikuti was an M.I.S.
Project Leader for Chrysler Corporation.
In May 2001, Mr. Vattikuti received the Lifetime
Achievement Award from Dykema Gossett at the third
annual Michigan IT Summit for his significant contributions
to the IT industry.
Mr. Vattikuti holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering,
Guindy (India) and a Master of Science degree in Electrical
and Computer Engineering from Wayne State University.
Mr. Vattikuti also holds an honorary doctorate in Business
Administration from Bryant College.
KRISHNASWAMY
SUBRAHMANIAM
As the President - IBU Operations, Mr. Subrahmaniam
spearheads the global operations at CSC India and is in
charge of all the service lines and delivery units across the
globe. He is responsible for growth and profitability of the
company as well as for creation of service portfolio along
the industry verticals.
Managing over 19, 000 professionals across the globe, Mr.
Subrahmaniam is an executive sponsor for many initiatives
of the company.
Prior to taking on this role, Mr. Subrahmaniam was the
president and CEO of Covansys India which is now part of
CSC. In recent years, under his leadership, the company
obtained several industry awards and recognitions – for
management excellence in service sector from MMA, for
creating fun and joy at work from DH Avenues, for woman
friendly organization from MMA, as one of the Top 10 Best
companies in India to work for by Business Today- Mercer
and TNS survey consecutively for 3 years (2005, 2006 and
2007) and 12th among the top 25 list Best Employers in
India – 2007 survey by Hewitt and the Economic Times. He
was also the recipient of the “CEO of the Year” 2007 award
by IT People.
Widely traveled, Mr. Subrahmaniam participated in several
external activities in forums and seminars. He is a member
of the Governing Council for IIIT-Bangalore. He finds time
to associate with community development projects as a
priority and has established the employee managed
Binergy foundation. He likes to describe himself as the
catalyst for organizational excellence.
Mr. Subrahmaniam graduated in Electrical & Electronics
Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy,
Madras University and worked for over 15 years at ITI,
India’s premier telecommunication company. He obtained
his post graduation diploma in business administration
from Annamalai University.
BALA MAHADEVAN
As the President & Managing Director of India Operations,
Mr. Mahadevan is responsible for leading the day-to-day
operations including Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance and IT
support.
Mr. Mahadevan joined CSC from Hewlett Packard (HP)
where he was director of global delivery. In this role, he
managed HP's applications service delivery centers in India
and South Asia. As a member of the HP GlobalSoft
Management Council, Mr. Mahadevan contributed
significantly towards the success and growth of HP in India
from about 600 to 11,000.
Prior to HP, he worked for Digital India and Compaq in
Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Program
Management. He played a lead role in integrating their
respective India Operations into HP. Earlier in his career, Mr.
Mahadevan worked for Covansys and TCS in operations
and software development, when he worked extensively in
the United States for over 16 years. During this period, he
worked closely with numerous Fortune 500 companies, in
driving their outsourcing initiatives.
Mr. Mahadevan is a seasoned executive with 25 years of
experience in the IT industry. He holds a Bachelor of
Engineering (Honors) from BITS, Pilani.
VIVEK CHOPRA
As the Division President – CSC India, Mr. Chopra is in
charge of new business development. Mr. Chopra has the
overall responsibility for all business opportunities for CSC
IBU globally, including each of the vertical business teams.
Mr. Chopra brings with him over 25 years of experience,
across a wide range of industries and markets. Most
recently he served as the Executive Vice President of
Global Operations for IBM Daksh, one of India’s largest
BPO operations, and a wholly owned subsidiary of IBM.
His background includes extensive experience selling
almost all of the current service lines into many of the
vertical markets that CSC IBU is organized around. In his
current role, Mr. Chopra will also focus on the additional
business opportunity creation for CSC IBU.
Mr. Chopra started his career at Wipro, where he held
various senior leadership positions both in the United
States and India throughout his 20 year career there. He
served for 5 years as the Chief Executive, North America,
and under his leadership their business experienced
tremendous growth and success.
PADMAJA KRISHNAN
Ms. Krishnan is the Director of CSC India's Marketing,
Planning and Research group. In her current role, Ms.
Krishnan is responsible for Marketing, Branding,
Communication and Business Development functions of
CSC India. The Marketing Planning & Research group works
closely with CSC’s global Account, Business Development
and Communication teams.
Ms. Krishnan brings with herself a strong industry expertise
spanning 25 years in the field of information technology.
This includes in-depth experience in the domains of
software projects implementation and management, client
relationships, quality assurance and certification, IT
consulting, marketing and business development.
Ms. Krishnan has consulted for and worked with various
global customers in the US, UK, Europe and Asia Pacific
regions, on a wide range of industry solutions and
technology platforms, as the IT industry evolved. She has
spearheaded many offshore-centric sales and marketing
initiatives that involved integration with US and European
markets and has led key strategic offshore centric
accounts as an executive sponsor.
Ms. Krishnan has been associated with industry-leaders like
TCS, Xansa and Perot Systems. She joined CSC India from
Xansa India where she was director – Marketing and
Business Development.
A National Science and Talent Scholar, Ms. Krishnan holds
an MPhil degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal
Nehru University (JNU) and MSc in Physics from Delhi
University. She is also a Tick IT Lead assessor, from the UK.
NEELAM GILL MALHOTRA
Ms. Malhotra is the Vice President of Human Resources
(HR) function at CSC India and the country head for HR.
With more than 25 years of experience in HR, she has
worked in MNCs, Private and Public sectors across IT,
Consulting, Manufacturing and Services Industries areas.
Ms. Malhotra also has experience in the areas of HR
Strategy, HR Management & Development, Personnel
Management, Organizational Development, Training and
related activities. Her areas of expertise include design,
development and implementation of HR Strategies &
Interventions, Performance & Reward Management,
Organizational Diagnosis, Talent Management, Training &
Development and Change & Culture Management.
Ms. Malhotra joined CSC in May 2006 from IBM, where she
was the Vice President of HR, responsible for the Global
Delivery businesses. Prior to IBM, she was the country head
of HR for PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting.
A BA (Honors) in Economics from Fergusson College,
Pune, Ms. Malhotra is a postgraduate in Business
Management from IMRD, Pune. She is also an accomplished
trainer in Human Process Labs and has done internship in
Human Process Labs from Indian Society for Individual and
Social Development (ISISD).
ANIL KUMAR THEKKEPAT
Mr. Thekkepat is the Director and heads the Global
Response Centre (GRC) for the India Sales Support
division. In his current role, he is responsible to lead and
manage, provide an India centric perspective and enable
business by imparting solutioning, bid responses, sales
support and demand forecasting functions for India Direct
(ID).
The team is a fully integrated unit consisting of CSC and
erstwhile Covansys staff.
The GRC team has been able to create a lighter version of
worldwide processes and methodologies, and weave this
within the business process of ID. The only constant factor
is change, and today GRC under the leadership of Mr.
Thekkepat embraces this totally and the positive changes
that have been created in the business flow has helped the
team build the momentum for ID business.
Mr. Thekkepat joins us from Hewlett Packard, where he was
the Client Principle and was handling offshore
business/delivery engagements with HP global business
units. He has worked across the EMEA region to identify
potential business opportunities and leverage the offshore
model for improving the competitive market offerings from
HP.
Mr. Thekkepat brings with him more than 22 years of work
experience in large organizations. He has proven business
management capabilities and his core competencies
include cross leveraging of IT services for business
excellence in customer program engagements.
ASHISH GAUMAT
As the Chief Information Officer of CSC India, Mr. Gaumat
offers support for business enablement, both from
application and infrastructure perspective mainly to CSC
India (including legacy CSC India, Covansys India and FCG
India) as an internal customer which has approximately
16, 000 employees across seven locations.
He has been actively involved in IT integration for
Covansys and now for FCG. He is also responsible for the
evolution of automation plans, implementation of CSC
global applications, alignment of India internal IT with
global CSC roadmap, provisioning of both infrastructure
and application solutions and tools and consolidation of
application workflows.
During his 24 years career span, Mr. Gaumat has handled
different projects in various domains including banking,
insurance and manufacturing. For over thirteen years of his
career, he has been involved in project management,
program management, development centre and business
unit management and Quality assurance/management.
A BE honors in Electrical engineering from M.N.R.
Engineering college, Allahabad, Mr. Gaumat has worked
with top Indian and International organizations including
Tata Consultancy Services, IBM Global Services, etc in
various middle/senior management roles. He is also Project
Management Professional (PMP) certified from PMI, US.
K S MOHAN RAMANATHEN
As the Vice President and Chief Finance Officer,
Mr. Ramanathen heads the Finance and Administration
function at CSC India. He is responsible for Financial
Planning and Analysis, Treasury and Taxation, Legal and
overall administration of the software development centers
in India.
Mr. Ramanathen joined CSC India in November 1997 as Vice
President of the Finance function and since then he has
been looking after the company’s finance and accounts
actively, supporting the business growth. His experience
includes working for India’s largest steel forging company,
a group involved in plantations, trading, bio-technology
and manufacturing, joint venture for exploration and
production of crude petroleum. He has also worked for a
palm oil extraction, refining and marketing group in
Malaysia.
A Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Secretary, Mr.
Ramanathen has over 30 years of experience in Finance
and general management.
VISHWANATHAN SHANKAR
As the Vice President, Operations (AMDO), Mr. Shankar
heads the global Application Services at CSC India and
provides oversight to a large portfolio of customer
engagements across several industry domains at CSC
India.
He has earlier worked in the US and is currently based in
India. Mr. Shankar has successfully managed critical
assignments in IT delivery including IT Project
Management and establishment and management of large
outsourcing engagements in a complex, global delivery
environment at organizations such as Tata Motors, TVS
Group and Syntel Software.
Mr. Shankar joined CSC India in 1994 and since then he has
significantly contributed to the growth and development
of the company. As a member of the leadership team, he
was instrumental in achieving Level 5 CMM and PCMM
assessment at the offshore operations facilities.
With over 27 years of rich experience in IT industry, Mr.
Shankar has a bachelors degree in Engineering from
University of Madras and masters in Business
Administration from the Indian Institute of Management.
He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and a Certified Project
Management Professional. He is also an active member of
PMI and IEEE. Mr. Shankar also participates in the
curriculum building and governance in computer education
at leading institutions in India to promote industry
institution interaction.
KOTHANDARAMAN
KARUNAGARAN
As the Director, Operations, Mr. Karunagaran leads the
Remote Infrastructure service line. He also leads the
strategic delivery unit on Infrastructure services supporting
the various remote infrastructure management (RIM)
projects that may be executed under different dedicated
development centers in other industry delivery units.
Mr. Karunagaran started the remote infrastructure
management services in India in 2003 and continued to
contribute significantly to its growth, both in terms of size
and capabilities. He played a key role in demonstrating
GDC India capabilities to the industry analysts, which
helped the company to be positioned in the leaders’
quadrant in the Forrester Wave Report on Global Remote
Infrastructure Management. Mr. Karunagaran is well known
for his people focus and actively pursues the
implementation of PCMM processes in the day-to-day
activities. He played a key role in starting number of new
services in the area of information security, mainframe
services, service desk L2 support, transformation, etc.
Prior to this, Mr. Karunagaran held several key positions
within GDC India including head of Global Operations, the
largest group within GDC India. Under his leadership, the
team has grown 100% and built new capabilities in several
areas. Mr. Karunagaran has implemented several ITIL based
practices including creation of the dedicated problem and
incident management teams within global operations. Prior
to joining GIS operations in India, he held the position of
SDM for CSC India. He laid the foundation for a robust IT
infrastructure and played a key role in obtaining ISO 9001,
BS7799 and CMM L5 certifications.
Prior to CSC, Mr. Karunagaran held the position of Vice
President (IT) in DishnetDSL Ltd. and Dy. General Manager
(networks) in Unicorp Industries Ltd. He has 20+ years of
experience in the IT industry including hardware, software,
network design, network maintenance and has held several
key management positions.
Mr. Karunagaran is a Mechanical Engineer from Anna
University and has continued studies with eCornell
University. He has also been awarded the CSC Icon award
recognizing him as a role model in senior management
with respect to all CSC values and their implementation at
work.
SREEDHAR KAJEEPETA
As the Head - Technology, Mr. Kajeepeta leads the
company’s Technology service line providing SOA,
business intelligence, and strategic technology services.
RAJAGOPAL RAMASWAMY
As the Head - ERP, Mr. Ramaswamy leads the ERP service
line providing implementation, maintenance, upgrade and
migration services in SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft areas.
SURESH SAMUEL
JAYASEELAN
As the Director for Technology, Mr. Samuel heads the
Testing service line and is responsible for providing
Independent Verification and Validation services to global
clients.
He joined the company in March 2005 and was
instrumental in establishing Testing as a separate service
line contributing significantly to the growth, both in terms
of size and capabilities.
Mr. Samuel has over 17 years of industry experience and
was earlier working for iSOFT heading its Quality and
Production Support. He established Enterprise Application
Testing Practice at HCL and as a Corporate SEPG member
and Process Champion, he was responsible for CMM L5
assessment and ISO 9000 certification for HCL Business
Solutions Center. He also worked for Britannia (Groupe
Danone) and Pepsi in Chennai.
Mr. Samuel is an engineering graduate from Government
College of Engineering, Madras University.
SHARAD SRIVASTAVA
Mr. Srivastava is the Vice President for the Financial
Services Sector (FSS) strategic delivery unit that has
industry delivery units in Banking, Insurance, EMEA and
APAC solutions, Capital Markets and BPO.
Mr. Srivastava brings with him vast and in-depth
experience in the IT industry, especially software services
business. In a career spanning more than 34 years, Mr.
Srivastava has held leadership positions in top
multinational and Indian organizations. He has worked as
managing director of Xansa PLC, UK, as well as of Xansa
India, being responsible for Xansa's offshore business; as
president of Fujitsu–ICIM (now Zensar) for their software
export business.
Prior to joining CSC, Mr. Srivastava was with the Hero
Corporate Services as president, organizing their entry into
the IT services export business.
An alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur,
Mr. Srivastava started his career in R&D and moved on from
there to general management.
VADEESH BUDRAMANE
As the Director of Healthcare Strategic Delivery Unit at
CSC India, Mr. Budramane leads delivery teams focused on
Provider (Health Delivery), Payors (Health Plan) and Life
Sciences. Apart from owning delivery to the healthcare
customers, his responsibility includes building vertical
specific solutions and services to enhance our leadership
position in the marketplace.
Mr. Budramane brings over 16 years of rich experience in
managing software development, focused on delivery and
process improvements in the areas of healthcare,
telecommunications, real-time embedded systems, parallel
computing and ISVs. He has demonstrated track record of
promoting change and leading teams forward with new
processes.
Previously, Mr. Budramane was heading FCG Software
Services India Pvt. Ltd. as Managing Director where he was
responsible for entire India operations including delivery of
all Healthcare business units.
Prior to that, Mr. Budramane worked with Wipro
Technologies and was responsible to manage large sized
accounts and deliver software solutions to the global
markets.
He holds Master of Technology degree in Digital
Electronics and Communications Systems from Mysore
University.
SANJAY ARORA
Mr. Arora leads the newly formed Strategic Delivery Unit
(SDU) with Industry Delivery Units (IDUs) Consumer/HR/Utility, Telecom industries, the various
accounts from Consulting and SI groups as well as the
Zurich Financial account.
As the director of Application Services division of CSC
India, Mr. Arora is responsible to oversee the overall
planning, direction and timely execution of application
service delivery for his unit from all India delivery centers.
He also ensures effective management and deployment of
project controls and risk mitigation strategies across the
delivery centers to improve the quality of service to our
clients.
Mr. Arora has direct responsibility for all staff and
subcontractors within the India delivery centers and is
responsible to integrate the offshore services delivered
from our India delivery centers as a natural extension of
the local services offered to our clients.
Mr. Arora has 22 years experience in the IT industry. Before
joining CSC India in August 2007, he held various
leadership positions in Wipro, Infosys, Kurt Salmon
Associates and Cognizant. Most recently, he headed
delivery for Retail & Hospitality vertical in Cognizant. Prior
to that, consulting for KSA, he managed change programs
for Retail clients in the US and Japan. Mr. Arora started his
career with Godrej & Boyce as a Programmer.
He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from MS
University of Baroda.
GANESH SWAMINATHAN
In his role as the Director - Office of Innovation and
Strategic Technology Services (STS) at CSC India, Mr.
Swaminathan is responsible to provide and support an
innovation framework that enables process, people and
technology innovation in various accounts and projects
that are being managed and delivered out of India delivery
center. He ensures that the Office of Innovation in India
works closely with its global counterpart for alliances,
global innovation initiatives and leading edge forum
activities in India.
In his overall career span of 21 years, of which he has spent
last 13 years with CSC India, Mr. Swaminathan has worked
and led strategic projects and initiatives on leading edge
and trend setting technologies. He has nurtured and
groomed multiple CoEs and has also managed strategic
alliances and partnerships with technology vendors.
Prior to joining CSC India, he was with Tata Unisys for 5
years in the Systems and Networking Solutions group
working on customer engagements involving development
of products and solutions for airlines industry and
entertainment industry. He also worked in the Switching
R&D division of Indian Telephone industry designing and
developing software for its proprietary voice and data
switching systems.
Mr. Swaminathan holds a Bachelors Degree in Electronics
and Telecommunication Engineering from Bharthiar
University, Coimbatore.
KRISHNAN GANESAN
As the Director - RMG, Mr. Ganesan is responsible for
resource management for CSC India. Based in India, he
provides leadership to the global RMG team. By leveraging
the company’s proven resource utilization methodology,
his team focuses on demand management, workforce
planning, fulfillment, utilization and skill management.
Mr. Ganesan joined CSC India in 1995 and brings more than
24 years of experience in IT delivery including IT Project
Management and establishment and management of large
outsourcing engagements in a complex, global delivery
environment at TCS and Covansys. At CSC, he grew from a
senior manager level to director level responsible for all the
US West coast accounts before taking up the role of RMG
in January 2007.
Mr. Ganesan holds MSc (Electronics) and MTech
(Electronics & Instrumentation) degrees. He is also a PMP
and Black Belt Six Sigma certified.
SRUTHI SAGAR
ANANTHACHARI
Associated with CSC India for over 8 years,
Mr. Ananthachari, in his role as the Director for
Recruitment, is responsible for global strategic sourcing,
vendor management and international mobility.
A veteran with more than 25 years of industry experience,
Mr. Ananthachari has been involved in global resource
management, global immigration, competency and career
development, compensation and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to CSC India, he worked for several large
organizations in India and in the USA including Patni
Computer Systems Inc., Tata Consultancy Services,
Indchem Electronics and Norsk Data.
As a member of CSC India leadership team, Mr.
Ananthachari was instrumental in achieving PCMM Level 5
assessment for the offshore operations.
Mr. Ananthachari has a Bachelor of Science degree in
Chemistry from Madras University followed by another
bachelors degree in Law from Madurai Kamaraj University
and a masters degree in Sociology from Annamalai
University. He is also a certified HR professional from the
Society for Human Resources Management, USA.
RADHAKRISHNAN
PERIASWAMY
Mr. Periaswamy is the Associate Director for System
Management and is responsible for internal IT projects and
delivery for few of the project accounts. He is also driving
the internal project management training program for PMP
certification.
Ever since he joined CSC, he has been involved in many
key corporate initiatives like Binergy (corporate social
responsibility program), PROMPT and ASSET (internal
certification program on project management) etc.
Mr. Periaswamy joined Ashok Leyland as a graduate trainee
in 1977 and served there until 1986. He headed the IS
department in Sundaram Clayton for seven years and was
responsible for IT services in NIIT prior to joining CSC in
1994.
Mr. Periaswamy holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree
from Annamalai University, winning the Best Outgoing
Student award in 1977. He did his post graduation (MBA) in
Finance from Institute for Financial Management and
Research (IFMR) and diploma in Operation Research from
Indian Statistical Institute.
DR SOMASUNDARAM
MURALIDHARAN
As the Director - Delivery Assurance, Dr. Muralidharan
spearheads the Total Quality Management initiatives and
Technical training function at CSC india .
Responsible for institutionalizing processes and best
practices across CSC India, Dr. Muralidharan brings in an
experience of more than 22 years in software quality
management, reliability models and competency
development.
Dr. Muralidharan was the program manager for CMM and
PCMM initiatives at CSC India and under his guidance the
company has achieved Level 5 assessment in its first
attempt. His prior experience includes setting up of Metrics
and Software reliability group in Tata Consultancy Services.
Dr. Muralidharan holds a PhD degree in Mathematics from
Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai where he
was engaged in research from 1977 to 1988. He is a PMI
certified Project Management Professional and a Six Sigma
Master Black belt.
MURALEE BHASKAR
Mr. Bhaskar heads the Retail, Utilities, Services, & Hi-Tech
(RUSH) verticals.
MADHAV MOHAN
Mr. Mohan heads the Banking & Capital Markets vertical.
RAMESH MIRAKHUR
Mr. Mirakhur heads the Insurance vertical.
SIVA VELU
Mr. Velu heads the Healthcare vertical.
STEPHEN NICHOLAS
Mr. Nicholas heads the Automotive, Manufacturing &
Telecommunications verticals.
JON UMSTEAD
Mr. Umstead heads the US BPO unit, sales and delivery of
global business process outsourcing and knowledge
process outsourcing (BPO/KPO) opportunities.
RAJESH NARASIMHAN
Mr. Narasimhan heads the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and
Africa operations.
DAVID GANESH
Mr. Ganesh heads the European operations.
PAUL STURM
Mr. Sturm heads the Global Finance organization and
provides strategic direction and leadership to all areas of
Finance, Accounting, Legal and Administration.
DAVID J ROCCO
Mr. Rocco heads the IT services and Project Management
Office (PMO). He is also the lead executive of the
integration team.
AMAL BHATT
Mr. Bhatt heads the Global Sales Support and Marketing
function. With support from his offshore team members,
the sales support team coordinates all marketing materials
and presentations, and takes the lead on many RFPs across
verticals.
DAVE PIWOWAR
Mr. Piwowar heads HR function for the US, and oversees all
HR functions including employee relations, compensation,
benefits and HRIS for Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
SAMBAMOORTHY
NATARAJAN
As the Associate Director - Program, Mr. Sambamoorthy
heads the Global Task Force (GTF) initiatives implementing
employee ideas, process improvements and change
initiatives in the organization. He was also part of the
integration program office for CSC-Covansys and CSC-FCG
integration in India.
Mr. Sambamoorthy was the head for a Utility engagement
at offshore, Center head for a ERP product engagement
setup and a Practice Manager for its consulting group at
offshore.
Mr. Sambamoorthy has an industry experience of 17 years
of which he has spent more than 10 years with CSC India,
while also working in the US and UK. He held key
leadership positions in various delivery functions across
industry verticals like Banking, Healthcare, ERP product
space and contributed extensively towards many corporate
initiatives including CMM, PCMM and ISO9001.
Mr. Sambamoorthy has a BSc degree from University of
Madras and BTech (Electronics) degree from Madras
Institute of Technology, Chrompet, Chennai. He is a PMI
certified PMP.
