The most flexible plasma resistant receivers on the market
Relaying infrared signals is not as simple as it looks. Sunlight, plasma and other light sources can contain large
amounts of infrared which can limit the range or completely block the relay of remote control commands. The outdoor
lifestyle in Australia makes the need for higher performance critical. Australian homes tend to incorporate large
glassed areas with extended outdoor living. This means that more often than not infrared relay systems are expected
to operate in direct or reflected sunlight. As a result LeisureTech Electronics has developed a new range of Forté
infrared receivers that give a maximum range of 30 meters in direct sunlight. This technology also provides benefits in
operating range and off axis flexibility. New technologies such as emissions from plasma screens continue to test this
technology. LeisureTech Electronics continues to develop better infrared receivers to justify its worldwide reputation as
the leader in infrared technology, now with a compact range available under the Forté Electronics brand name.

All Forté infrared receivers have status indication. Most remote controls only have one command for ON/OFF. In remote rooms you need to know if the amplifier
status is ON or OFF. With these connecting blocks it is as simple as plugging in an extra power supply into the switched output of the amplifier.

required. (DL-8 Data Cable is recommended to ensure reliability) cable length is not a problem in most installations and all include status. Our passive units are targeted at basic applications that require less sophistication, but

The Original “Low Loss” cable designed specifically for the custom
installation industry requirements
A hard fact of science for custom installers is that the longer a speaker cable is run, the greater the signal loss
experienced. “Low Loss” was the first cable designed specifically for custom installation industry requirements. It uses
advanced dielectric to reduce the signal losses caused by capacitance and inductance. Using 99.9% OXYGEN FREE
premium grade audio wire copper, low loss is enclosed in a high impact outer sheath to resist damage during and after
installation. No wonder its distinctive yellow has become an industry standard for audio cables installed in homes and
businesses throughout Australia and New Zealand.

1. Connect AB-BT10 Inline Bluetooth Receiver Module to ABUS system via RJ45 input A and RJ45 output B . NB.
RJ45 termination as per ABUS standard
2. The LED D will turn on (constant blue light) indicating the Receiver Module is powered and ready to be paired to
your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch or other Bluetooth enabled device.
3. To rename your Bluetooth Device ID connect Mini USB to USB lead (supplied) from connection C to your computer.
Refer to website http://www.resi-linx.com/downloads for separate instructions on how to conveniently rename your
Bluetooth resi-linx device ID to identify different zones eg. kitchen, living, outdoor etc.
4. AB-BT10 is designed to function whilst enclosed in wall cavity of local zone NB. Ideal placement of Receiver Module
allows accessibility for troubleshooting.

What is A-BUS/ready?
First of all lets look at what is A-BUS/ready™? It is where a Home Theatre receiver, amplifier or multi-room amplifier
has an A-BUS port built into it. By using an A-BUS/ready™ components your system can be expanded to a multi-room
audio system. Depending on the number of A-BUS/ready™ expansion ports on the back of the amp you can have up
to 16 rooms. With IR control from each room. It’s easy, it’s simple and it’s ready.

• Choice of wall module or “on speaker” control

With the use of SoundCast’s SubCast wireless TX/RX you can add a room on to
an A-BUS installation. Of course we always recommend hard wiring but if you’re
in a bind to get a cable Outdoors, all that is required is the SubCast TX/RX and an
A-BUS to RCA converter manufactured by LeisureTech. Please see diagrams for
further explanation and just ring us for any questions.
