Sonoma, CA – December 22, 2014 – Mary’s Pizza Shack, the family-­‐owned 20-­‐unit casual dining Italian restaurant, has opened a new location in Petaluma (at 423 N. McDowell Blvd. near the new Friedman’s Home Improvement) on Wednesday, December 10th. With overwhelming success in their West Petaluma location and 9 other Sonoma County locations, Mary’s Pizza Shack saw an opportunity for their reasonably priced, homemade Italian cuisine on the east side of Petaluma. “We appreciate the support and friendships we have made in Petaluma over the past 31 years and we look forward to meeting many more new neighbors,” said Vince Albano, CEO and Mary’s grandson. He continues, “We are excited to serve Petaluma in a location that is easily accessible on the east side. ” Mary’s Pizza Shack will offer the same homemade menu of pastas, pizzas and entrees that have made it a destination for business lunches and family dinners in its other 19 Northern California locations. All of the dishes are based on Mary Fazio’s original recipes, continuing her traditions, commitment to quality and passion for guest service. The stone pizza oven is an exciting new addition to this Mary’s location. Seven exclusive pizzas have been developed for this particular Petaluma location. This new east side location also features 16 new craft beers on tap. For the décor, Mary’s incorporated elements reflecting Petaluma’s heritage and local history. “Although my grandmother, Mary, passed away in 1999, we want to continue her legacy,” states Nanette Albano-­‐
Lane, Design Coordinator. The Mary’s Pizza Shack in Petaluma will have 35 tables, accommodating nearly 150 guests for lunch or dinner. In addition to the dining rooms, there is a back room for parties and an outdoor patio offers additional seating for 40 guests during nice weather. Like all of Mary’s locations, the new restaurant will offer dine in, take out and delivery seven days a week. Over 20 party trays are available, as well as gift cards.
