India is privileged, to have a rich cultural heritage
through continuous chain of sages and seers who have spread
the message of universal brotherhood and peace. The waves
of western materialism as well as other forces alien to our
humanistic culture are threatening to wipe out the imprints of
our rich sociocultural traditions, which have been handed down
through centuries and are deeply etched in our hearts.
Academic excellence in arts and science and
competence in technical skills are essential in modern day
competitive world for better quality of life and financial
independence. But success in life is incomplete without good
health, without harmonious relationship and without real
happiness. Therefore, it is most desirable that we train the
young children and mould their plastic minds in acquiring
positive qualities to become ideal citizens of this world.
It is a known fact that environment greatly influences
the child’s development. Parent’s love and guidance are very
important. But, it is difficult to provide the right environment
at home / neighbourhood while in a day school because of
various limitations, urban pollution and encroaching media
like T.V.
Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda Vidyalaya has been
established to eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness
among children and to develop true love for all humanity with
inspiration of Self Realization Fellowship / Yogoda Satsanga
Society of India. The students will therefore be moulded by
building self confidence through meaningful education imbibed
with qualities like patriotism, discipline, and humility.

Parents are the first teachers, and teachers are the second
parents. Our teachers are encouraged to constantly develop their
skills to enable them to inspire the students by participating in
all the worth-while activities. They help the latent potentials of
children to manifest into a magnetic personality and a tendency
to succeed in their chosen vocation. This is achieved by intensive
in-house and external orientation and training of teachers on a
continuous basis.

Meeting
After each Term Examination, parents must meet and
discuss their ward’s progress at the fixed date and time. This
helps both the teachers and the taught to do better.
Library :
A well equipped and beautifully arranged library is not only
an asset or a collection of books but also a boon to the students
and the teachers in developing reading and writing skills. This
has been an essential feature of the school from the first day of
its establishment. Ever expanding library is a basic policy of the
school.
