FQHR World Round-Up Judges
Larry Kasten
Larry holds judging cards in the NRHA,
AQHA, NRCHA and the FQHR. He has
judged shows throughout the US, Canada and
Europe, including the Quarter Horse Congress
Reining Futurity, the Americana in Germany, the
NRHA Derby and the Italian Reining Futurity.
He owns Larry Kasten Quarter Horses, a reining, training and breeding facility, where he and
his son Jeff train and show reining horses. He
taught and directed the University of River Falls
Equine Program from 1973-2006. He currently
chairs the NRHA Judges Task Force, serves on
the NRHA Judges Committee and the NCRHA
Board of DIrectors. He and his wife Diane have 3 Larry Kasten
Resides in River Falls, WI
children, Jeff, Chandra and Kate and they all reside
in River Falls, WI.
John Aipperspach
Standing Michigan FQHR Hall of Fame Stallion
“BADGERS LIL DUDE”
Born in North Dakota, John has spent his
entire life in the horse business as an exhibitor
and trainer. He now resides in Springfield, MO
where he manages a Quarter Horse and cattle
operation.
He has been a judge for over 40 years and
holds cards in ABRA, PtHA, APHA, APHC,
PHBA, and NRCHA.
He enjoys all classes and considers his areas
of expertise to be halter, western pleasure, cattle
classes, roping, reining and cutting. He has
judged APHA World, PtHA World, Palomino
John Aipperspach
World, Foundation World, ABRA World, and
Resides in Springfield, MO
APHC World and many European shows.
His other interests include showing Angus cattle,
various futurities and steer shows, Irish terries and travel.
