Sounding Joy’s application for grants from
Rotary Club, Organization for Autism
Research, and City of Honolulu have
unfortunately been declined. We recently
applied for a grant from the Department of
Health to offer underage drinking prevention
programs on Big Island. As our current major
grants from the Department of Human
Services end in February 2011, we need
other funding sources to sustain our services.
While we face this challenge, we appreciate
your continued financial support!
Upcoming Events…
Sounding Joy Will Present at
World Congress in S. Korea
Sounding Joy has been selected by the scientific

Human Services. Keiko and Yoshimi will speak
about the effectiveness of music therapy, based
on the surveys and feedback collected from
more than 200 program participants.
